Hull will get a draw there I think. 2-0 win for the Royals and I think West Ham will nab 3 points but you never know with them. Middlesbrough need to improve.

If Saints win it'll surely be a late Lambert strike.

Fewer goals and assists

Thanks for the clarification. It hadn't been clear before.

Form is only a guide, we know that

Southampton are on a good run but have nevertheless drawn 4 of their last 10, dropping 8 points

RFC had W9 D1 dropping just 2 points

With 9 games to go, if that form was repeated we would gain 5 or 6 more points on Southampton
Or, to put it another way. using the BBC's 10-game form chart we should gain 3 points on Southampton
in the 5 games before our meeting on their ground and go there a point ABOVE them.

That would still mean a defeat would be bad news, but, by then, a draw could look very sound

Come on SB'ers do a game by game comparison with the 106 team. At this point they were on for a 110 point season.

Snowball,

Genuine question - do you consider Moneyball to be a porn film?

Nope. I'll just refer you to the various "geniuses" who said
I was talking out of my ass way back (as per Shane Long)

No. I see it as a film version of a serious academic/theoretic approach which has been proven (yet again) to trounce the knee-jerkers

Of course we are.

And a fit Shane brought into this side wouldn't improve it.

And Steve Coppell is still the manager
