I am sure they can be persuaded to take yours back. In fact I suspect that they might all chip in to ensure that you are not at any games.

Translation for the English speaking members of the board;

I doubt if they would all chip in to lose me as I spent £3000 on Reading Football Club last season (home and away), including the pre-season trip to Sweden. I am just saying that I think Nick Hammond is a liar.

Strangely, none of the away expenditure finds its way to Reading FC at all, neither did the trip to Sweden.

Just as a matter of interest, which bit of Nick Hammond's talking do you consider to be
tosh
? Maybe you could elaborate a touch and explain why it is that he is lying, and what you believe the truth to be.

Technically, you can get SFC for £1 (so you'd have change from your £100) - but you would have to satisfy the outstanding debts - and good luck with that one.

Back on Page 6 of this very thread, on 30th June of 2009, some Pompey random
Sun Tzu
Wax Jacket LOLZ

let's be honest, PFC > RFC at the mo

we were top dogs in the South for one season and it was quaLOLity. still. better being 2nd than 3rd downwards.

Aren't Pompey and Saints currently in a race to see who can go out of business first ?

Pompey are in a right mess, their supposed buyer looks like a fraud, they have a paper thin squad, they can't get a ground sorted.

I'm not sure about the 'top team south of London bit, has as much relevance to us as Aberdeen being top team north of Loch Ness !

Pompey in a right mess?

Southampton yes.

Pompey, far from it, debts down to 30 million now and in the prem'. The club is one of the most stable clubs in the prem'. Sold 80 millions worth of player alone in the last year or so. Buyer a fraud? Stop reading the press.

All is fine at Pompey.

I think it's more of a will Reading or southampton go out of business first?

Just click the link up 'are ^, sit back and let the LOLz ensue

I LOLLED my arse off at Carlin back then.

Smug twat, his club is getting exactly what it deserves and so is he for believing the bullshit about it being stable and thinking we're in more financial trouble.

The butterfly effect :

Pompey 'steal' Tommy Smith using funds it transpires they don't have

Brendan Rodgers plans for the season wrecked

Reading start disastrously

Rodgers never really recovers from the loss of his percieved talisman

Reading continue to struggle

Rodgers career could be over before it's really begun

Reading ........ survive or fall ?

I say let them be liquidated - I'm sure we're not the only ones affected in this way.

I agree - a big club has to go out of business for the long term good of football. In reality club's financing PL survival by unpayable debt are cheating well managed clubs out of places in the PL. Plus they got us relegated two years ago, so I hope they get relegated down to non league.

I considered including the bit that you've added, Ian, but that was more of a tactical football decision than a cheating financial one.

I included it because it was about them concentrating on winning a trophy they only had a chance at through financial mismanagement.

Royalee Piss off all those slating the way we're run and come back at the end of next season giving your analysis and piss off for good Portsmouth, sell Fratton Park to shave a few pence off your debt because it's a shithole and you may as well play on a bombsite.

Interesting one this. Once Rodgers was gone he had to change his mind to find a scapegoat. The word fickle comes to mind......

posted this on a different subject but it fits in here better

I'm actually starting to come round to JM's way of thinking regarding investment in the club, (and i know that i am going to get a lot of stick for this) But if you look at the state of various clubs right now, cardiff, pompey, pallace, county, glasgow rangers ect that we know of, plus all the clubs that the financial situation has not got media interest, but are still in deep crap. Perhaps it is in our best interests to weather the storm for the time being while all these clubs sink, rather than over invest and end up in the same situation, because although we are all deeply pasionate about our club and want the big time, we are a small team with comparitively little support and as such does not receive the gate revenue/shirt sales of the likes of derby county or even forrest. Although I would love to see a return of the premiership i would not like to see it happen at the expence of the future of the club should the investment not work out as with Leeds. I suppose at the end of the day, all i am trying to say is JM did not make a ton of cash by making bad investment decisions.

I've done quite a bit of research into RFC's finance's recently, as I've been writing a paper on them. I think the policy can only be deemed a success if we avoid relegation this season.
