Royal Lady Eh? I didn't say I'd cry. I said I'd stand in his parking space and boo (as in "boooooooooooo"). Idiot.

Yeah but all your posts have the edge of hysteria about them, so tears probably can't be far away.

Don't think BK will play this week - just back from Olympics and off next week with Cameroon again....

Team for the season, pending an arrival or two, at the moment is:

Hahnhanhenemann
Dunno - Pearce - Bikey - Armstrong
Henry - Karacan - Matejovski - Shunt
N Hunt - Lita

Assuming Harper and Doyle either go for loads of wonga or are dropped
Ingi and Murts are put out to grass
Coppell realizes that Rosenior and Kebe are not very good....
The Cheque stays injury free
And Lita regains a zest for life - as he showed against Villa in the friendly.

Desperately need a right back - not sure Kelly is up to it yet.

If Sonko has gone I revise my team to

Hahnemann
Rosenior, Pearce, Bikey, Armstrong
Kebe, Harper, Karacan, SHunt
NHunt, Lita

Coppell's comments on Armstrong mean I'm less concerned about his ability to slot straight in. I'm rapidly losing faith in Ivar so if Bikey is fit and ready he should step up to the plate. I've heard nothing official about Marek's fitness so I'm ignoring him.

Worried about comments about Doyle and Long being upfront, but they do seem to work better together than with anyone else so I could almost forgive it. NHunt and Lita I'm not sure about as a partnership, but I've chosen it because I think Doyle desperately needs to be dropped and given a few weeks in the reserves.

Sonks gone I would go with:

Usa
Rosenior-Pearce-Bikey-Armstrong
Henry-Karacan-Harper-Hunt
Nhunt-Lita

Out of interest, why are people putting Lita in instead of Doyle? Neither have been much good, but Doyle has been the better of the two and can win a header. Neither has much confidence, neither looks much like scoring, but Doyle has come closer.

I think its a question of attitude. Lita looks like he's prepared to work his way through a dry spell, Doyle doesn't look like he wants to be on the pitch.

Joe Mattock could be playing torrmorrow

Leicester have turned down bids from two clubs for highly-rated defender Joe Mattock, skysports.com understands.

Mattock's future at Leicester has been the subject of speculation over the summer since their relegation from the Championship last season.

The talented left-back was one of Leicester's brightest lights last season and his performances have caught the attention of a host of clubs.

Mattock is regarded as one the most promising young players in England and he is the second youngest player to represent England Under 21s.

Aston Villa, Liverpool, Everton, West Ham, Sunderland and Reading have all been credited with an interest in Mattock and they are thought to be keeping tabs on the player.

Two clubs are believed to have firmed up their interest in the player and tabled seven-figure offers for Mattock this week as they look to sign the player before the close of the transfer window.

Leicester are keen to keep hold of their prize asset and have turned down the two bids from the mystery suitors.

It remains to be seen if the two interested parties come back in with new improved bids for the full-back before Monday's transfer deadline.

Actually that would be just like RFC-we start the week with only Golbourne and end it with 3 of them.
The central defence now looks interesting.
At the end of last season we had:-
Sonko
Ivar
Duberry
Pearce
Bikey
Sodje
Bennett
Brown and at a push Bryn or Cisse.
Now we seem to have:-
Ivar
Duberry
Pearce
Bikey and at a push Bryn or Cisse.

Ivar looks slower than ever
Duberry seems to be injured a lot
Bikey supposedly doesn't want to play for us
Pearce is a novice
Bryn is like Duberry and Cisse can't head a ball.

Everybody is pushing for Pearce to play and I think he has to but let's not expect too much of him too quickly.

I think we will see one more game of S Hunt at LB with Convey on the wing and Armstrong on the bench. Coppell is usually not one just to hand someone a starting spot. He has to earn it (which is rubbish, but its Coppell). So expect to see Armstrong and Noel Hunt on the bench tomorrow. A travesty of a mockery of a sham (traveshamockery) not starting NHunt, but it is what it is.

................Hahnemann

Rosenoir Pearce Ingimarsson Goldbourne

Kebe....... Karacan......Harper ... S Hunt

..............N Hunt......Long

Long may have missed a number of chances on Tuesday but he created much more than either Lita or Doyle have so far this season and, from what little I've seen of them together, Hunt and Long actually look like a partnership rather than complete strangers.

Meanwhile, some of those not amongst Leroy's fan club must be starting to wonder if only shagging Mrs Coppell will get him dropped. As far as I can see he's scored one league goal for us in more than a year and only excels at backing into defenders. As much as I love Doyler, he's been dire in front of goal for more than a season.

So, for me it just boils down to who will be the best partner for the impressive Hunt.............Long gets my vote.

I'm not sure that our new left back will get the nod tomorrow as he's had so little time with his fellow defenders and if Goldbourne's fit he looks good enough to me. We need Hunty further up the pitch.

I have a realiable source that says Pearce plays tomorrow. Presumably that rules out Bikey then.

Unless that source is Steve Coppell then I'm not sure whether to belive you or not.
