There was a TV programme recently about internet trolls. it was suggested that it is primarily to do with low self esteem. They can't get a response regarding something positive or nice so sink down to just posting negative comments about things so as to get a response. It is the response that is important, not the content of it. Ultimately though it doesn't actually help their self esteem issue, that small high they get from a response is short lived and the low that follows even lower than before once they stop and think about what they have become.
I saw that
The notable traits of a troll were seeking out sensitive issues where people were more likely to give an emotional response, provoke said emotional response, and then mock the emotional response.
If the response was reasoned and rational, make out the response was emotional and mock it. Usually leading to a genuine emotional response.
Sounds very familiar.
Yes - the worst kind were those who dished out personal insults about someone they don't know.Sound familiar?

sandmanHoop BlahPepe the Horseman How did Piazon and Hal play?
Both pretty crap to be honest. A little harsh on Robson-Kanu perhaps, but only because he had to play on the wrong side once McCleary went off injured and perhaps Piazon who was positively involved in a few key moments of course.
I'd have been tempted to hook Piazon off after 25 minutes as he was showing all his negative traits without any of the good stuff to balance them out. He grew into the game a little, but so a player of his type should when the extra space comes thanks to the opposition being down to 10.
Great to see Vydra take his chances well. He had one or two before his goal that he might have done better with, but he was clinical after putting the first one away (which he made look easy to be fair).
The most positive thing that came out of last night, IMO, was the obvious team spirit among those on the pitch. You could see how much it meant to Vydra to score and it was noticeable how many of his teammates made special effort to congratulate him. They, unlike some fans and certain muppets in the media, obviously recognise his effort, quality and how well he's been playing (without the goals).
I've seen a few comments on how well Cooper played. He's decent enough but yet again we've looked shakey with him at the back and he's made errors that have led to goals and chances going against us. He's a decent prospect, but he's far from the finished article and the sooner McShane gets back in the side the better.
Feel a bit sorry for Sa!
The point Mr High Horse is that Vydra's effort is admirable but he was not brought here for effort alone, he was brought here as a proven Championship goal scorer to get us the goals that would get us promoted. No one has ever said he's lacking in effort, not even Dellor.
Try actually reading and listening.

No Fixed Abode Ah, playing the moral high ground to make yourself feel better.
Any way - this is the Team Board - lets stick to football discussion on here and don't get so riled up over trivial matters.

Attack being the best form of defence I think. Gives him a feeling of superiority, a bit like the thick older kid who is held back a year at school and likes to lord it over the smaller kids in the class by pushing them around in the playground.
In reality he is jealous of our connection and sense of pride to our local hometown team when he has opted for the false glamour of "supporting" a club 40 miles away that he has no real ties to, to boost his self esteem. Am I close?
....and there you completely lost the moral high ground
You are right WSM. Now edited. Apologies to anyone if I caused them any offence.
