Of course I have seen the stats and the results.

We are in trouble; mainly due to our terrible start with so many injuries and before the signings arrived (up to and including the 4-0 to Huddersfield).

That and the six point deduction; and the QPR and Blackpool ‘cave ins’ is what has damaged us most.

Add 7 points on (5 from QPR and Blackpool and a point at Stoke and at home to Bristol City) and the 6 deducted and we’d be 1 point off the play offs.

I am not saying that Pauno is the answer to everything; but he has had a horrendous period to work his way through, probably the toughest that any Manager of the Club has had to work with over the past 20 to 30 years and he got us 7th last year.

And we were looking good at half time against Blackpool and just before the points deduction hit.

A full strength squad would have us in the play offs. Imagine Joao and Carroll? With Meite from wide and Ejaria and Swift and two of Laurent, Rinamota and Drinkwater.

And Macintyre and Dann at the back.

We have a lot to do and it won’t be easy.

If we do change Manager, we need young and hungry and nasty and aggressive; with something to prove (not a has been).

I like Ainsworth and I like Mark Robbins

Our best two appointments (other than SC); were Pardew and McDermott; both of whom I was underwhelmed by when appointed but both of whom had that desire and don’t forget Pardew built the foundations for SC.

Butler/Cureton/Shorey/Harper/Sidwell/Hughes & Salako

And McDermott won the league and found a way to win games and defend a lead.

I know it’s not good enough right now; but Pauno will keep us up and this Summer it is massive overhaul time.

I agree Pauno has to take some blame for this.

I don't believe he started the pandemic but I don't recall seeing him in Wuhan trying to prevent its spread, or anywhere near any labs trying to develop vaccines for it. Absolutely zero effort.

just didn't enjoy reading it or posting on it. started to dislike quite a few of the posters, esp with the previously mentioned one upmanship. And work is super busy nowadays. Doubt I'll go back. Rather stick loosely to football

All very amusing, but with the EFL vaccination rates you do have to question what owners, managers and medical teams are doing to boost take up. Given we have infections and games postponed there could be question marks there.
