Ian Royal Good bye and good luck to the best striker we have ever had.
I certainly wouldn't go that far. One of the best yes, but not THE best.

Ian Royal You know a striker is good when they have an almost 1 in 2 scoring average and they got multiple hat-tricks for your team!
West Ham
Gillingham
Brighton
+ 3 pre season friendly hat-tricks.
Probably the best striker we will ever have.

Archie's penalty Those videos make me sad. Especially watching those Tottenham goals. We should have won that game and stayed up!

Can't think of anyone better with a complete all-round game,two-footed,a good header of the ball, good passer and tackler and decent finisher.
Kerry Dixon.Robin Friday and super Trev must be up there but Dixon only got to play for England some time after he left us.
Having scored goals for us at Premiership level I really can't think of anyone better and he will be greatly missed this season IMHO.

floyd__streete Jimmy Quinn > Dave Kitson for me. Quinn scored plenty at international level, although admittedly he didn't perform in the top flight as Kitson (fitfully) did.

But Jimmy only played for Northern Ireland and our Dave could have played for them if he hadn't insisted on being very English.

I dunno why he wasn't picked after Capello saw him against utd... I thought he had a great game against them

Wheras he saw enough in Wayne "I swung my leg 50 times and connected once" Rooney to call him up. Hmm.
