So bang out of form that they made Premier League Arsenal the champions elect work really hard for their single goal win and did what not many Premier League teams have done this season by scoring a goal against them.

I just checked-today we committed more fouls (20) than any other team in the division.
As I posted the other week , we are turning into the archetypal Northern third division side with3 lumps at the back, a packed midfield and plenty of long balls so a bit like Rotherham of old, the same Rotherham that LR managed.

Very effective and well done by the manager for getting us up the table and accumulating a very good number of points - successful it may be but I really don't enjoy watching us.
A mate came round to see it on TV (Bournemouth didn't have a game) and asked if that was how we play every week.
The obvious answer was "yes" and he kindly didn't say much more about it than "great result".

Obviously I will carry on going to home matches but this is the first season for a very long time I have questioned my desire to go , not least because my family in Reading has got smaller and smaller and going to matches means that I see some of them every fortnight.
I detect that there are quite a few on here who don't go anymore-I wonder if it is because of our style or just for other reasons.

Great result as it was, like last week, a loss looked likely with 10 or so minutes to go. Along with the 20 fouls you mentioned, I noticed Luton put in 29 crosses, which has been an issue for a while now and the reason why we concede so often, if only we could cut a lot of those out. Hard to establish if it's the way we set up or just the fact that our full backs are not up to the job.

It's not even stupid pass out bollocks... one defender lays off to another for an easier pass out or clearance and the other guy (Naismith?) inexplicably takes a first touch that practically passes the ball into Ritchie's path. I don't think it's necessarily even an accidental heavy touch.
