An interesting article: http://www.readingchronicle.co.uk/sport ... k-warning/

Take note of the last couple of paragraphs: "Reading don't like the possibility of Marek leaving them". I'm pleased to read it.

If Marek is not a regular starter by Christmas, he will leave in January beit on loan or permanently. World Cup year and all that.

The word "cheaply" is missing from the end of the statement. If Sparta or anyone else make a decent offer hes a gonna.

Would any of the older more established players be on appearance based wages? ie don't play them as it'll dent the wage budget.

Perhaps with Marek a transfer clause where £x amount is payable after X appearances? Sounds very like the John Salako contract.

As much as i like Marek the signing of Howard and Rogers quote that "he can be the focal point of the team" makes me think that Marek's days could be numbered. Howard seems to be the player who will play in the hole behind the striker(s) which would seem to be the best position for Marek to play in our midfield.

Terminal Boardom World Cup year and all that.

I rather suspected that his ban would rule him out for that anyway. I realise indefinite could mean one or two, but I think the implication was more like many.

Further proof if needed that BR is a cock - Marek is ten times the player Howard will ever be!

Please feel free to remind me of this if we go up - although I'm quite confident that I'll avoid any pie of the humble type!!

SSC didn't like him and it sure looks as if BR is not convinced. Ergo, he is gash! How many chances does he need? As many as Graeme Hick??? REAL FACTS!!!!! Marek is, to put it simply, not Russell.

So they scored quickly - remind me which of the 8 (yes EIGHT) England goals came after that one.

I think you hit the nail on the head there.
Also, his passes don't go to Reading players because they are crap passes.

Sometimes the simple answer is the right one.

There have been a few press reports linking him with a loan return to the Czech Republic. Possibly Sparta Prague.
But at the last Fans' Forum, Rodgers said he liked him and he was part of the plan.

Maybe this link helps me believe him.
