Why fight a number - better to have thought about one.

Some horrendously biased (as ever) Sky reporting.

We were the better team. We won.

I doubted you Reading. I was completely wrong.

WELL DONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes I doubted them too.........I was off work yesterday with a cold and thought to myself ' Do i really want to sit there and watch my team get slaughtered by an in-form away side AND freeze out there for nearly 2 hours and then get double pneumonia ??' So I watched the match on Setanta Sports instead and think that was a very sensible decision as I only joined yesterday ! :)

We were definately the better team today.....Liverpool look nothing like the likes of Arsenal. Impressed with harper, bryn and sonko today especially.

To call us "dire" is I think a little harsh. We didn't turn them over playing Champions League style. But we took the chances that we created, we closed them down, they were only really able to shoot from distance most of the time, although even that was scary enough.

But we deserved to win. We played as well as we can, which realistically was pretty good, and they were a bit off. Which is what I dreamt of, as that way we could get a point. And in fact we got all three.

Fantastic. Let's celebrate.

Boston Royal
Derbyshire Royal Lucky? yes Liverpool should have had at least 3 penalties, Readings wasn't. The ref has given every decision Readings way and they just said that "the reds" have to beat the ref as well as Reading!!!

I think I'm watching the same commentary as you (Fox Soccer Channel). "How many penalties should Liverpool have had? 1, 2 or 3?" Er, the answer is none.

Disgraceful, over the top pro-Liverpool match commentary on the overseas English-language feed, the like of which I've never heard.

The culprits are Steve Banyard and, er, I didn't catch the name of the doofus alongside --Gary Reilly or somesuch, I think I heard ("Inconsistent," he said with a mocking chuckle and more than once, as though the referee were cheating).

Match to screen again over here tonite. I'm taking names --that was outrageous.

Speaking of Murdochvision, I can't find the game on Football First this evening. Do Setanta games not get replayed on Sky, then?

Can't look at that without thinking of Johnny Knoxville and 'The Ringer'.

OK, a little harsh. But I remember thinking at 1-1 that we really did look second best.
Armadillo Roadkill We played as well as we can

I sincerely hope that's not true. There was still a lot of aimless hoofing, rabbit-in-headlights defending and being a distant second to 50-50 balls. But anyway...
Armadillo Roadkill Fantastic. Let's celebrate.
I couldn't agree more. A result to put a nice fresh rose tint on the specs.

Right folks. Lets clear one thing up. If the defender gets the ball IT'S NOT A FCUKING PENALTY.

There, I feel better now.

Sonko - two immense challenges. You've just got to get your long ball game sorted out.
