Do we have an identity again now?

John Swift has clearly idenitfied something about Reading FC. Jaap Stam, the style of football, his leadership qualities and coaching methods. It is something that he identifies with and wants to be part of....

Are there signs that the club has a positive identity again? A new Reading way? Something positive and unique about us. It may not be the identity that Brian was trying to create, but there is a new identity, something a bit different and something positive.

Do many other managers come out and public state what system they are going to play? Doesn't that make opposition scouting a little easier?

I'd imagine most managers have a fair idea how the other teams play. It probably doesn't even take a scouting trip to know if a team plays 4 at the back or favours wingers...
And of course Jaap may change his mind....
