Most of those out of contract. Anyone else we get a good offer for.

If I was in charge I'd be looking to keep Taylor, and maybe Alex if an offer too good to refuse came for Norwood. I'd offer Cox a deal, but not Ferdinand. Try to find Kuhl a good loan somewhere that tries to play decent football, one for Liburd too. See if I could get Owusu, and Watson some loan time, and at least one of Hyam and Dickie to League One.

I'd be looking to find clubs to take Williams, Kermorgant and Gunter off our hands. Offer HRK a new deal but at no more that £18k

I'd try to tailor my new signings to fit 3-5-2 with wing backs / 4-3-3 because I think they'd take the least rebuilding to work. Stacey has played right back and him and Fosu could be late game switches to a more traditional 4-4-2 without putting too much reliance on them or having to sign a million new wingers.

Got the impression BM said none of the loaners were staying or in fact being picked next week. I think there were some positives yesterday. Barrett looked more enthusiastic in 45 minutes than that useless c*nt Vydra has all season.

I can sort of understand the choice not to pick loan players but not when it means fielding players hopelessly out of position accommodate. Gunter at left back was a tool, McCleary would have made more of a contribution being further forward and George Evans is wasted on the right of the diamond, he is a box to box midfielder.

I also think Brian was a bit OTT in the post match by stating that ALL players pulling on a shirt next season will be Reading players. The loan system is OK if used properly and sparingly.

.

Aims to be, isn't the finished article yet at this level. As was the case at Leeds isn't up to a full 90 minutes yet as ran out of gas before even 60 minutes. Wouldn't surprise me if that was a planned substitution yesterday. Brian is a good man manager.

I actually thought Barrett looked to be doing what Vydra had been trying and failing to put any end product on. Play positively, looking for the interchange that created a clear chance. Trying to catch defenders out, spotting and encouraging runs. Vydra over complicated things and was shot to bits when it came to finishing, but when he was actually looking to get on the ball, he was always looking to create something dangerous and positive. There's a reason he was our 4th highest assister... he was at least trying, if failing.

HRK will probably get the same treatment as Pearce, Karacan and Feds - half his current wages. Pearce and HRK were both signed at the end of the Premier season campaign on £16k per week. Average Championship wage is about £9k. Blackman was on less which is why he sulked and refused to sign a New contract as HRK and McCleary were on much bigger wages than he was. I suspect Gunter also got the same new contract offer (or he was on bobbins anyway as we took the year extension option on his contract last summer), though I wish he hadn't signed for another two years

Less worried about who will leave. Than who is coming in. There's a core of a reasonable squad. A couple of solid central midfield players would be an ideal start. As there's something lacking currently.

When you've only got two senior fullbacks, two senior centre backs, one senior winger and no strikers who are scoring, adding to your five senior central midfielders should be your lowest priority.
