General B Please for the love of God can you go round Anfield Kopite's house and unplug his computer?

Kind Regards,
The Internet.

I have no idea who that is, but I'm guessing he's one of many Internet idiots that are around nowadays?

He's one of yours.

As for the questions, we're really rubbish, Brendan Rodgers is a numpty and I don't think I've noticed a single Liverpool player this season. I assume Gerrard is still banging 40 yard hollywood balls into the stands?

hello steven

perhaps you could tell us a little about yourself by way of saying hello

what is your favourite colour and why?
what colour socks are you wearing?
the rock or con air?

StevenLFC 1. Sorry to bring it up, but Reading currently sit bottom of the league, 8 points from safety. Is that gap too big to overcome? Yes.

2. The Powers that Be at Reading decided to make a change at replace Brian McDermott with Nigel Adkins. What did you think of McDermott's reign, was the change justified and are you happy with the decision to pick Adkins? Thought Mcdermott was harshly treated, and deserved a crack at taking us back up. now hes gone im fully behind the new manager. the king is dead etc

3. It has been a difficult season for Reading, but which of your players have impressed you the most, and has anyone not lived up to your expectations?hard to pick. the most consistent and hard working is jobi mcanuff, marriappa andkelly of the new signings

4. I'd like to get your thoughts on Liverpool before we look ahead to the game itself, if you don't mind. What have your thought of us this season? looking like a typical rodgers side early on, and i thought there was a chance of it all going pear shaped. but has fixed the problems, and got you playing a nice passing while still effective, style

5. Brendan Rodgers had a brief spell at your club, what are your thoughts on him? Do you think he can be successful at Liverpool?
desperately wanted him to succeed here, but he didnt, and by the end he had to go. it seems he may have learned some of those lessons now though

6. Which of our payers have impressed your this season? suarez, sturridge of the new boys

7. Looking at the game itself, how do you see Reading lining up? To have any realistic chance of survival I'm guessing you have to get three points from the game. Can you see Reading looking to attack Liverpool, and if so, are you confident you can do what AstonVilla couldn't and stop us hitting you on the break? same as last week, maybe with pog up front, and hopefuly with shorey at left back-no im not that confident

8. Finally, care to predict the score? a million nil to us!

Cheers guys.

StevenLFC Hello everyone,

My name is Steven, and I am a member of the Liverpool forum Red & White Kop. On our forum, we have a feature called Spyin' Kop where we get the thoughts of opposition fans and I was hoping you could answer the following questions? Thanks in advance.

1. Sorry to bring it up, but Reading currently sit bottom of the league, 8 points from safety. Is that gap too big to overcome?

Yep, no chance

2. The Powers that Be at Reading decided to make a change at replace Brian McDermott with Nigel Adkins. What did you think of McDermott's reign, was the change justified and are you happy with the decision to pick Adkins?

Not entirely happy, Brian is & always will be a legend for what he's done, the timing strikes me as stupid as what can Adkins possibly do with 8 games?

3. It has been a difficult season for Reading, but which of your players have impressed you the most, and has anyone not lived up to your expectations?

None have been great but McAnuff has been my pick, Mariappa aswell. Leigertwood hasn't had a great one but doesn't deserve the crap he gets week in week out.

4. I'd like to get your thoughts on Liverpool before we look ahead to the game itself, if you don't mind. What have your thought of us this season?

Not sure, got the looks of a good team, play some great football but then you'll go and lose to a lower team. A bit of Jekyll & Hyde really.

5. Brendan Rodgers had a brief spell at your club, what are your thoughts on him? Do you think he can be successful at Liverpool?

Not great here, talked loads of b/shit, wasn't too sad to see him go. Had a team already in place at Swansea so I will judge him on what he does with you.

6. Which of our payers have impressed your this season?

Gerrard & Suarez. Suarez has been unbelievable. Done well to come back from the racism scandal. Gerrard is my fav English midfielder in my lifetime, no need to say anymore.

7. Looking at the game itself, how do you see Reading lining up? To have any realistic chance of survival I'm guessing you have to get three points from the game. Can you see Reading looking to attack Liverpool, and if so, are you confident you can do what AstonVilla couldn't and stop us hitting you on the break?

Prob play 4-4-1-1 with Guthrie supporting Le Fondre or Pogrenybak. Can't see us getting anything, we start games well but as soon as the other side settles or gets a goal, heads go down and we panick.

8. Finally, care to predict the score?

0-2 Suarez & Coutinho

Cheers guys.

StevenLFC Hello everyone,

My name is Steven, and I am a member of the Liverpool forum Red & White Kop. On our forum, we have a feature called Spyin' Kop where we get the thoughts of opposition fans and I was hoping you could answer the following questions? Thanks in advance.

1. Sorry to bring it up, but Reading currently sit bottom of the league, 8 points from safety. Is that gap too big to overcome? Yes. When Churchillian resolve was needed against Wigan, Villa and Southampton we decided to become H from Steps.

2. The Powers that Be at Reading decided to make a change at replace Brian McDermott with Nigel Adkins. What did you think of McDermott's reign, was the change justified and are you happy with the decision to pick Adkins? Love BMc, but he was gash in the Prem. No idea on first 11 and 70s style football. He over achieved and was out of his depth. Adkins best available.

3. It has been a difficult season for Reading, but which of your players have impressed you the most, and has anyone not lived up to your expectations? G. Frame best of our players. Saved some certain goals, better positional sense than Gorkss & moves more than Harte

4. I'd like to get your thoughts on Liverpool before we look ahead to the game itself, if you don't mind. What have your thought of us this season? As expected. Long way to go to be a champions league regular again.

5. Brendan Rodgers had a brief spell at your club, what are your thoughts on him? Do you think he can be successful at Liverpool? No. He's a numpty

6. Which of our payers have impressed your this season? Suarez

Nope. Villa have tactics and a game plan. We hoof. That's why Adkins came in....Anton couldn't watch the Karacan row Z clearances any more

8. Finally, care to predict the score? Reading 0 Liverpool 4

Cheers guys.

StevenLFC 1. Sorry to bring it up, but Reading currently sit bottom of the league, 8 points from safety. Is that gap too big to overcome?

Yup!

2. The Powers that Be at Reading decided to make a change at replace Brian McDermott with Nigel Adkins. What did you think of McDermott's reign, was the change justified and are you happy with the decision to pick Adkins?

Brian did a great job, but his longball football and sit back hit on the break style was obviously never going to work in the Premiership and it was always a matter of time before a) he got the chop and b) we were relegated. At least with Adkins we'll get decent football and hopefully a return to the prem soon.

3. It has been a difficult season for Reading, but which of your players have impressed you the most, and has anyone not lived up to your expectations?

Mariappa. The rest are clearly out of their depth at this level.

4. I'd like to get your thoughts on Liverpool before we look ahead to the game itself, if you don't mind. What have your thought of us this season?

Good season. It was always going to be a up and down year with Rodgers new style. You still need 4-5 decent players and then you'll push the top 5 again.

5. Brendan Rodgers had a brief spell at your club, what are your thoughts on him? Do you think he can be successful at Liverpool?

He tried to play good football. Had a very average squad that took longer to adapt than he could afford, but it was turning around at the time he was sacked. Big shame. Had he used Sigurdsson in the right way then it would have been a different story.

6. Which of our payers have impressed your this season?

Suarez.

7. Looking at the game itself, how do you see Reading lining up? To have any realistic chance of survival I'm guessing you have to get three points from the game. Can you see Reading looking to attack Liverpool, and if so, are you confident you can do what AstonVilla couldn't and stop us hitting you on the break?

11 players on the pitch being pulled from pillar to post and kindly moving aside to let your lovely players help themselves to 3-4 goals. Easy day out for you.

8. Finally, care to predict the score?

0-5

1. Down? Doomed since the Autumn, but "Reading Time" was fun.
2. Sacking? BMcD did very well, but failed to buy well and at times tactically weak. Love the guy, miss him, quite probably the right decision.
3. Our lot? Le Fondre had a hot streak. McCarthy had fine spell in Autumn. Mariappa has looked the part. Pog? Can't tell as he's had so little to work with. Guthrie and Gunter disappointing. Rest Championship class out of their depth.
4. Your lot 1? Usual hot and cold. Attractive at times, fragile.
5. Bodgers? Vain. Uses words he doesn't understand, role-plays being Jose with his 'dossiers on the group', bluffer extraordinaire. Won't be in the game at meaningful level in 10 years.
6. Your lot 2. Suarez- really looking forward to seeing his movement. Gerrard - better, fitter season than might have expected. Sturridge - looked great with Suarez in first few games. S&S could take us to bits.
7 & 8. Saturday. As earlier posters. We'll try to pass in an adrenalised first quarter, then Suarez'll tear us to shreds. Four up by 75 mins then you'll coast and we'll get a late one.

Yep, we're down.

2. The Powers that Be at Reading decided to make a change at replace Brian McDermott with Nigel Adkins. What did you think of McDermott's reign, was the change justified and are you happy with the decision to pick Adkins?

Great for the most part. He had to rebuild the team in each of his first two Summers after first Sigurdsson was sold, a player his predecessor (who I believe you know) had no idea how to utilise properly, and then Shane Long after we lost the Play off final a year later. He then over achieved last season and got us promoted something which probably was his ultimate downfall when you put everything together. Mistakes were made this year undoubtedly but personally I'd have stuck with him because I believe he earned another chance given his record throughout his time here. Timing of sacking was bad. Adkins was probably the best choice out of those available but I still don't see how he is a massive improvement on the guy who beat him to the Championship title last season with an inferior team.

3. It has been a difficult season for Reading, but which of your players have impressed you the most, and has anyone not lived up to your expectations?

McAnuff has been good despite the stick he gets, when Kebe's been fit he made a big difference, Le Fondre has grabbed the headlines and Federici did well to recover from a terrible start after he got back in following the injury to the also impressive Alex McCarthy. As for disappointments, number 20 has been nothing but trouble (including refusing to play because his "head wasn't right") and hasn't lived up to the hype from his fanbase and Pogrebnyak has struggled although tbf some of that isn't down to him.

4. I'd like to get your thoughts on Liverpool before we look ahead to the game itself, if you don't mind. What have your thought of us this season?

Very patchy relying heavily on Suarez.

5. Brendan Rodgers had a brief spell at your club, what are your thoughts on him? Do you think he can be successful at Liverpool?

Where to start? He was pretty awful here, tried to change too much very quickly with his dossier aka the big book of tactics and was just generally pig headed about his philosophy which is one of the main reasons. Full of Blarney about his family motto meaning he was a "skilful soldier" and how he knew Jose Mourinho and general grandiose soundbites. Went nuts and tried to ban the local radio reporter from training for simply suggesting that a performance against a poor Scunthorpe team was worse than one against a Victor Moses inspired Crystal Palace team, interview here http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xctmrs_brendan-rodgers-last-live-post-matc_sport#.UWRdNsNwbIU(thanks to HNA's own BenReadingFC). Can he be a success at Liverpool? He pretty much inherited his Swansea team and style and it was when he had to build a team whilst here that he struggled which is what he has to do at your place. Hopefully for your sake he learned his very harsh lesson.(there will be a guy calling himself Royalee along soon who'll tell you he was great and he'll be better for you than Shankly.)

6. Which of our players have impressed your this season?

Suarez obviously and Downing's done well considering he was told he could leave.

7. Looking at the game itself, how do you see Reading lining up? To have any realistic chance of survival I'm guessing you have to get three points from the game. Can you see Reading looking to attack Liverpool, and if so, are you confident you can do what AstonVilla couldn't and stop us hitting you on the break?

Variation of 451, we will probably attack to start with but concentration lapses will mean that once your first goal goes in the chins will be on the floor and you'll win.

8. Finally, care to predict the score?

Comfortable 2-0 to Liverpool.

Cheers guys.

1. Yes, we're down.
2. Decent record. Bad timing to get rid of McDermott but Adkins was my first choice replacement at this time.
3. Bottom of the league tells the story!
4. Don't care
5. Decent manager IMO, needs to learn when to keep quiet though. With a bit of money and good scouting could win you the league if given time.
6. Don't care
7. 442 would be nice, either way we'll lose
8. 1-3

1. Sorry to bring it up, but Reading currently sit bottom of the league, 8 points from safety. Is that gap too big to overcome?
Yes, we are down. Barring the greatest escape ever.

2. The Powers that Be at Reading decided to make a change at replace Brian McDermott with Nigel Adkins. What did you think of McDermott's reign, was the change justified and are you happy with the decision to pick Adkins?
We did very well under McDermott no doubt. A play off final defeat before being promoted as champions, but many of us were wondering how on earth it happened. From an outside perspective it looks like it was harsh to sack him. But anyone who watches us regularly will know that we play dire football which seems to have got even worse this season. Not only the players were out of their depth but also the manager. He should probably have gone at Christmas but we did well in January and these last few games give Adkins time to assess things for next season. He was my first choice and is a far better manager than McD, I am looking forward to a new Reading next season that play nice football so we can hopefully bounce straight back up.

3. It has been a difficult season for Reading, but which of your players have impressed you the most, and has anyone not lived up to your expectations?
Le Fondre, Mariappa and Robson-Kanu have been the best of an average bunch. Hopefully our young keeper Alex McCarthy will start the match and keep the score down, he has been out injured but he is a future star.

4. I'd like to get your thoughts on Liverpool before we look ahead to the game itself, if you don't mind. What have your thought of us this season?
At times you look really good, and other times just not quite up to where you want to be. Too inconsistent.

5. Brendan Rodgers had a brief spell at your club, what are your thoughts on him? Do you think he can be successful at Liverpool?
For some reason it didnt work out for him here, he is a good manager though and should be given time at Liverpool.

6. Which of our payers have impressed your this season?
Suarez has been your best player by far, he has improved a lot, especially his finishing. He doesn't seem to need 5 chances to score a goal anymore.

7. Looking at the game itself, how do you see Reading lining up? To have any realistic chance of survival I'm guessing you have to get three points from the game. Can you see Reading looking to attack Liverpool, and if so, are you confident you can do what AstonVilla couldn't and stop us hitting you on the break?
It is difficult to say, we never create many chances anyway. I would like to see us attack teams more seeing as we have nothing to lose now. Adkins still needs time to impose his methods and get the team out of their bad habits.

8. Finally, care to predict the score?
Reading 1-4 Liverpool

Hello Steven
StevenLFC 1. 8 points from safety. Is that gap too big to overcome? No, I think we'll stay up.

3. which of your players have impressed you the most, and has anyone not lived up to your expectations? Mariappa; Guthrie.

4. I'd like to get your thoughts on Liverpool before we look ahead to the game itself, if you don't mind. What have your thought of us? I think you're scum.

5. Brendan Rodgers had a brief spell at your club, what are your thoughts on him? Do you think he can be successful at Liverpool? I think he's scum. Dunno.

StevenLFC Hello everyone,

My name is Steven, and I am a member of the Liverpool forum Red & White Kop. On our forum, we have a feature called Spyin' Kop where we get the thoughts of opposition fans and I was hoping you could answer the following questions? Thanks in advance.
Cheers guys.

1. Sorry to bring it up, but Reading currently sit bottom of the league, 8 points from safety. Is that gap too big to overcome?
Stranger things have happened in football, but to all intents and purposes, yes.

2. The Powers that Be at Reading decided to make a change at replace Brian McDermott with Nigel Adkins. What did you think of McDermott's reign, was the change justified and are you happy with the decision to pick Adkins?
Mostly McDermott's reign saw brutal efficiency of performance. We were poor starters under him, but once he had a few games to figure out where the team was after the summer he used the remaining transfer window and loan window to excellent effect. The quality of football left a fair amount to be desired at times but it got results ruthlessly in a division where teams make more mistakes and capitalise less on your own. In the Premier League he, and we in general, have been a bit of a disaster. He, and we in general, have got wrong pretty much everything we could have done.

The change was absolutely justified in my view. To an outside eye, and plenty of our fans, he should have been given the whole season for getting us here and we should have expected this sort of season. I happen to think our players are just a bit better than this and that with better management of the team and transfers, we would be struggling along more in the sort of position Villa / Wigan find themselves in currently.

Adkins is a super manager that Saints shouldn't have sacked and I'm absolutely delighted to have him here.

3. It has been a difficult season for Reading, but which of your players have impressed you the most, and has anyone not lived up to your expectations?
McAnuff & Le Fondre seem to me to be the ones who've blotted their copy book the least, although plenty of the others have had very good performances at times. And very poor ones. Guthrie has been disappointing as our only real Prem midfielder, but he doesn't have a lot to work with and has been mismanaged. Pogrebnyak has also been a bit too prone to cumble under the slightest of challenge and isn't quite mobile enough.

4. I'd like to get your thoughts on Liverpool before we look ahead to the game itself, if you don't mind. What have your thought of us this season?
Work in progress. Rodgers is a total bellend, but if he's got the right tools he'll do a good job. Can he restore your former glory? Probably not, but he should be able to push you back up into genuine European, if not Champs League contention.

5. Brendan Rodgers had a brief spell at your club, what are your thoughts on him? Do you think he can be successful at Liverpool?
See above, he's a big watched, egocentric, blinkered, bullshit merchant. But if he's got players with good technique and ability, who buy into his ethos, then he should be a positive for you.

6. Which of our payers have impressed your this season?
I haven't really cared enough to pay attention.

7. Looking at the game itself, how do you see Reading lining up? To have any realistic chance of survival I'm guessing you have to get three points from the game. Can you see Reading looking to attack Liverpool, and if so, are you confident you can do what AstonVilla couldn't and stop us hitting you on the break?
4-5-1 - Federici, Gunter, Kelly, Morrison, Mariappa, Leigertwood, Akpan, Guthrie, McAnuff, Robson-Kanu, Pogrebnyak
would be my guess (and maybe hope). Although there could be any number of changes through the side depending on what Adkins is looking to do at the moment. We'll attack, but we won't do it convincingly if you defend competently and you'll tear through us at will once our heads go down.

8. Finally, care to predict the score?

3-1 to you.

Yes. Beyond half an hour at Chelsea in the 2nd game of the season, I've always assumed we'd be going down, and there's no way we'll win the minimum of 4 or 5 games we need to stay up. Only three teams going into administration could save us, and even then it'd be touch and go.

2. The Powers that Be at Reading decided to make a change at replace Brian McDermott with Nigel Adkins. What did you think of McDermott's reign, was the change justified and are you happy with the decision to pick Adkins?

Brian performed something of a miracle to get this side promoted, let alone as champions. The team just isn't good enough by a long chalk, and complaints about his tactics are like blaming the victims on the Titanic for having a poor swimming technique.

However, he was chief scout last time we were in the premier league, and he failed to find any good players, and this summer he again showed that he wasn't able to either find or attract players of a good enough standard. Indeed, with the signings he made, it was almost as if he'd forgotten we'd gone up, and was building a squad for another play-off push.

I'm not excited by Adkins, but he has a decent record, and it's probably better for him to come in now and have a good look at the players before the summer.

Overall I'm annoyed at the club as a whole for not taking the premier league seriously. How anyone thought the squad we had would have a chance of staying up is beyond me.

3. It has been a difficult season for Reading, but which of your players have impressed you the most, and has anyone not lived up to your expectations?

They simply aren't good enough, and performances have reflected that. The player of the year vote could be a toughie this year, due to so few candidates, but I'll probably go with Le Fondre, as he's about the only player you think might make a positive impact if he comes on.

4. I'd like to get your thoughts on Liverpool before we look ahead to the game itself, if you don't mind. What have your thought of us this season?

Inconsistent and crippled by expectation, but maybe have turned the corner now.

5. Brendan Rodgers had a brief spell at your club, what are your thoughts on him? Do you think he can be successful at Liverpool?

It was a shame he failed here. He joined the club as a youth, but never had a playing career because of injury. He must be the first manager in decades to have never played a first team match for an adult club at any level.

He had big ideas, but unfortunately sounded completely arrogant. Coupled with Reading very poor form under him, it made him come across as aloof and delusional. Maybe if he'd been given more time it would have worked out, but I think even a hint of humility would have helped. At times it was as if he'd been to see a hypnotist's act, and had been dragged up on stage and told he was Jose Mourinho leading Chelsea to glory.

6. Which of our payers have impressed your this season?

I've always been impressed with Suarez, but to be honest, I've barely bothered watching match of the day this season.

7. Looking at the game itself, how do you see Reading lining up? To have any realistic chance of survival I'm guessing you have to get three points from the game. Can you see Reading looking to attack Liverpool, and if so, are you confident you can do what AstonVilla couldn't and stop us hitting you on the break?

It's very hard to predict our tactics with a new boss in. I think it depends a lot more on which Liverpool turns up. We are well overdue a team turning up and half-arsing it because they think it'll be easy.

8. Finally, care to predict the score?

If we play like we did against Southampton, about 5-0 to Liverpool.

2. The Powers that Be at Reading decided to make a change at replace Brian McDermott with Nigel Adkins. What did you think of McDermott's reign, was the change justified and are you happy with the decision to pick Adkins?

3. It has been a difficult season for Reading, but which of your players have impressed you the most, and has anyone not lived up to your expectations?

4. I'd like to get your thoughts on Liverpool before we look ahead to the game itself, if you don't mind. What have your thought of us this season?

5. Brendan Rodgers had a brief spell at your club, what are your thoughts on him? Do you think he can be successful at Liverpool?

6. Which of our payers have impressed your this season?

7. Looking at the game itself, how do you see Reading lining up? To have any realistic chance of survival I'm guessing you have to get three points from the game. Can you see Reading looking to attack Liverpool, and if so, are you confident you can do what AstonVilla couldn't and stop us hitting you on the break?

8. Finally, care to predict the score?

Cheers guys.

Hi Steven,

1. Yes, we're doomed - bring on the summer and Adkins putting his stamp on the team.
2. McDermott's reign was built on rubbish football and short termism, we should've sacked him in November, should never have sacked Rodgers in the first place and have now got the replacement we needed in Adkins.
3. Most impressive have been Mariappa, Robson-Kanu, Le Fondre and to a lesser extent Shorey and Pearce. Poor have been most of the rest with Gorkks, Gunter, Leigertwood and McAnuff particularly poor.
4. Although you're not where you expect Liverpool to be, I think you have to see it as a work in progress - you'll still probably finish higher up than last season in the league, Rodgers has brought a lot of youngsters through and added the likes of Coutinho and Sturridge to the mix. Give him time and he'll do a lot better than your previous two managers, although I think Liverpool fans are pretty sensible football people as a general rule and know that anyway.
5. Good manager, should never have sacked him and will be a success at Liverpool as per Q4.
6. Obviously Sterling and Suarez, Coutinho looks a good buy. Shelvey could turn out alright too.
7. No idea really, I couldn't have predicted last Saturday's lineup and Adkins is familiarising himself with each player so it could be anything.
8. 3-1 Liverpool

All the best for the rest of the season, I hope you reclaim your place in the top 4 in seasons to come.

1. Yes
2. McD was a good champ managaer but was always going to limit us in his mind and his tatics.
3. Mapps has stepped up nicely, most of our squad has been poor but I expected more from Guthrie
4. I think you've done nothing exciting and without Suarez you would be screwed.
5. BR is an alright manager, needs funds.
6. Shelvey, how he plays in the prem I have no idea. Fair play to him.
7. We will fold after 30 mins and run about with no formation or understanding
8. 3-1 Liverpool

1. Sorry to bring it up, but Reading currently sit bottom of the league, 8 points from safety. Is that gap too big to overcome?

Of course it is, we're going down and have been since we lost to a very, very shaky Villa in March.

2. The Powers that Be at Reading decided to make a change at replace Brian McDermott with Nigel Adkins. What did you think of McDermott's reign, was the change justified and are you happy with the decision to pick Adkins?

McDermott was shafted really. Zingarevich went on record earlier in the season and stated McDermott would be in the Reading job regardless of what happened, and I felt that with his record at Championship level he had more than earned the right to have a second crack of the whip. That said, McDermott made a rod for his own back with the results, steadfast refusal to utilise a better, more protective system until December and give underperforming players an automatic starting berth.

Regardless of this season though, McDermott was one of the most popular managers Reading has ever had. I maintain that the first six months saw some of the most exciting football I have ever seen Reading play in my time (25 years watching Reading). He had a hell of a job picking up a team that had been taken to the heady heights of 21st and playing some of the most spineless football seen in that 25 years, and the signs didn't look good after a 4-1 spanking at Home Park, Plymouth just after Christmas, but a win at Anfield kick-started the season and the rest, as they say, is history. In fact, the run of form was so good we still had a chance of getting into the playoffs with two games remaining. We then lost our best player that your team had been built around, Sigurdsson, had a necessary change of style and system and still reached a playoff final. Speaks volumes about the man IMO. And to then lose your next best player, Long, alter the style again and then win the league? He has something about him tactically and it was this quality coupled with his down-to-earth manner that endeared him to Reading fans.

3. It has been a difficult season for Reading, but which of your players have impressed you the most, and has anyone not lived up to your expectations?

The season has been so poor that no real player stands out, but it's nice to know we have a player who can stick it in the back of the net at any level in Le Fondre. He literally has been the only shining light this season.

4. I'd like to get your thoughts on Liverpool before we look ahead to the game itself, if you don't mind. What have your thought of us this season?

Inconsistent, with a now typically soft Rodgers underbelly. Nice football, you have a briliant technical player in Suarez but his darker side shows itself far, far too often, the nasty b*stard. You're still well behind the top four in terms of quality, but you're better than us!

5. Brendan Rodgers had a brief spell at your club, what are your thoughts on him? Do you think he can be successful at Liverpool?

Arrogant, overconfident in his own ability, tactically disastrous, and a motormouth full of bullsh*t cliche's. Given a team with an above-average, decent technical ability like at Swansea and LIverpool and he'll do alright, no better, no worse. At Swansea all he had to do was find a goalscorer. He got that in Scott Sinclair and they went up. He had no foundations to build, much like at Liverpool because the foundations are in place. Give him a challenge like that, so far he has failed miserably.

6. Which of our payers have impressed your this season?

Raheem Sterling looks very good, typical of Rodgers to play a good youngster early on. He exposed Sigurdsson early and reaped the benefits of his quality.Suarez hasn't missed so many sitters this season and is pivotal to your team, but I hope he gets sent off on Saturday - he deserves to have been on numerous occasions since he joined your lot.

7. Looking at the game itself, how do you see Reading lining up? To have any realistic chance of survival I'm guessing you have to get three points from the game. Can you see Reading looking to attack Liverpool, and if so, are you confident you can do what AstonVilla couldn't and stop us hitting you on the break?

We'll attack, we'll have a go and ultimately come up short as normal. Probably line up 4-3-3 but the feeling is that Adkins is just sizing up for next season. Guthrie should start with Leigertwood and Akpan. I hope Karacan gets nowhere near the team but he probably will...

8. Finally, care to predict the score?

1-4

1. Sorry to bring it up, but Reading currently sit bottom of the league, 8 points from safety. Is that gap too big to overcome?

Yes, but that doesn't mean we've given up on winning games.

2. The Powers that Be at Reading decided to make a change at replace Brian McDermott with Nigel Adkins. What did you think of McDermott's reign, was the change justified and are you happy with the decision to pick Adkins?

McDermott overachieved with limited funding, he struggled to adapt & will learn from this and move on. The change was harsh but you can't really argue with the decision, only the timing.

3. It has been a difficult season for Reading, but which of your players have impressed you the most, and has anyone not lived up to your expectations?

No players have impressed, although Le Fondre had a good month. In terms of not living up to expectations, possibly Jem Karacan as I expected more from him - others have been much much worse, but I expected them to be.

4. I'd like to get your thoughts on Liverpool before we look ahead to the game itself, if you don't mind. What have your thought of us this season?

I don't even know where you are in the league, I think more rebuilding is required.

5. Brendan Rodgers had a brief spell at your club, what are your thoughts on him? Do you think he can be successful at Liverpool?

He had a brief spell as manager but was with us far longer than that before being head hunted by Chelsea. He's okay, he had the right ideas and was the right man but at the wrong time - his plans were too long term and not focussed on the immediate and real threat of relegation. Was well known for his big watch and love of tank tops.

6. Which of our payers have impressed your this season?

Suarez

7. Looking at the game itself, how do you see Reading lining up? To have any realistic chance of survival I'm guessing you have to get three points from the game. Can you see Reading looking to attack Liverpool, and if so, are you confident you can do what AstonVilla couldn't and stop us hitting you on the break?

We will attack, fail to convert and leave the back door open.

8. Finally, care to predict the score?
0-3
