USA_Loyal_Royal I agree that rivalrys can fade away unless reignited. the only way that it could be reignited is if aldershot, swindon, oxford started rising into the higher levels with us. for me i hate west ham and qpr and i see them as our "new" rivals. we have been creating history with these clubs in recent memory.

SHORT AND CURLY http://www.shotsweb.co.uk/mb/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=32036
They have scored two goals at home this season and are bottom of the football league, get around 1800 home fans and somehow have the audacity to take the pizz out of our loss against Arsenal![]()
Love to have the opportunity to stuff em like the old days.

SHORT AND CURLY In the old 4th Division we used to play the likes of Barrow, Rochdale, Mansfield, Workington etc.

MrWestHam You won't be able to find a single WestHam supporter who will name Reading as rivals. Absolutely crazy. There are a few who registered that you got the hump when Pardew came to us from you I suppose but no-one goes looking for Reading on the fixture list.
Millwall and Tottenham are the only teams that really get a stir from the majority and that goes back for decades. The hypocrisy of the sheffield united claim riled a few but that's standard northern behaviour so no-one really cares.
Really quite surprised that so many on this thread nominated us.

Born 'n Bred Royal Ha West Ham a rival? Don't flatter yourselves. The only teams we hate are Oxford, Swindon and Aldershot, but given that we've been in a higher division than them all for years we don't really have any proper rivals.
West Ham is a sh*t club with egotistical fans who like to think that they are bigger and better than everyone else
