Stuboo
Libertine I really don't see how we will win a game ever again... :cry:

No. Not really. But that is how I feel going into each game right now. :(

Come back to us Libertine! We can't loose your voice of sanity in this sea of drama queens! :D

Sigh...I knew this season was going to be tough put so far it has been more painful than I thought it would be. I figured we would be able to scrape together one victory somewhere along the way between the beginning of the season and now. I look forward to each Saturday and by the end of each Saturday I am either :shock: :( or :x :x :( depending on whehter we get dominated or cheated out of a result. My morale will definitely improve when we get our first win of the season.

LoyalRoyalFan Said in the summer we needed to buy some more players and I got laughed down.

:roll:

Me too, people said they were happy with the squad we had, but we are really lacking and it shows

Switched on would be a better term.

Didn't want to pay for Zaha or Long, so we've ended up with McAnuff in centre-mid.

Ideal
Royal91 look where West Brom are at the moment

Yes, do look at WBA.
They have a very mobile, fast and tough striker, Shane Long.
We have an immobile, lethargic, very slow striker who falls over if there is a slight gust of wind, Pogrebnyak.

We are oxf*rd oxf*rd oxf*rd!

lol, he's our best player

The only thing worse than losing is having to wait a week for the next match!

They're so negative. I still believe this squad we have at the moment can do it. An extra player or two would be a nice to have.

Once we get a string of games together with a settled first 11 I'm sure it will pick up. On my predictor I had us to lose against Swansea, draw with L,pool and get our first win against Fulham. We stayed up!

Our next three games will show where we are. Fulham, QPR and Norwich. Fail to win any of these games and I see us doing a Derby!

I can't believe Brian still thinks we're competing.

Absolutely dire.

Liverpool weren't even playing well and they dominated. We improved second half but Liverpool played quite poorly in the second half too. I have no confidence whatsoever about our survival chances and sick of seeing hoofball tactics being deployed every bloody week.

I hate to say it but if this is what McD is planning on doing for us every week then I'll be glad to see the back of him if he goes.

Can`t disagree with some of that, but Derby were an awful team that season, we aren`t that bad,

OK, as requested I'm going to try to tell you some positives:

* Pogbrebnyak is a clinical finisher when he is given chances
* Our defence is well organised - not up to it's standard at the moment, but getting better
* McCarthy (although I like Feds) is making some great saves and this will help us get points
* Second half was much better - we showed we can string passes together and this should improve
* Dead ball delivery is poor - this means we have a massive room for improvement here which will help
* Roberts
* Kebe
* McDermott's a great man manager and knows how to get his team to bounce back with wins after losses
* Great team spirit
* I think West Ham, Southampton, Swansea, Villa, Norwich are all arguably worse than us over a season
* We haven't even come close to hitting top form yet - when we do, the results will come!
* One win can change everything and set us on a winning spree

I hope that gives you some hope.

Beat Fulham and win our game in hand and we're right back in it.

Keep the faith everyone!
