We lost 7 or 8 on the trot at one stage that season.

The single worst thing about the Portsmouth result was people claiming we hadn't been hammered.

Quite! It's almost as if there was an Icelandic Public Holiday that day because both Ivar & Bryn were utterly , utterly, rubbish.

As I mentioned earlier - 8 in a row (in the league) starting with the 6-4 loss at WHL and ending with a 2-1 loss at home to Villa.

We did managed a 2-2 draw at WHL in the FA Cup 3rd round in that period (and lost the replay 1-0).

Oh OK. The WHL games seems much earlier - but I was home for some reason, so that makes sense, I guess.

Tbh, we're defending so poorly this season I expect we'll be conceding 6 or 7 in a game again any time soon.

agree, and eight goals in two losing games?, there are worse defeats 0-2 Bolton/0-2 Fulham....and the Watford home defeat the season before those..... when we finished eigth

Ta,... I've searched for the soccer saturday video of the Pompey game with kamara and found nothing. It was just a vid showing Kamara and Stelling during this match. Twas a great vid if anybody can find it. "He couldn't hit a barn door with a banjo Jeff".

And we missed a penalty...which if we had scored would have had us right back in the game...we were not hammered, I was there and although we were behind for most of the match we were always in with a chance
