Kiev were (unsurprisingly given their heritage of excellent teams going back decades) excellent on the ball, closed down well, were solid in defence and attacked quickly. I'm not saying we will win - but watching that game gave me some hope. If we can defend like we did at everton and hit them on the break who knows - Man City looked pretty sluggish and a trip to Eastern Europe wont have helped. Then again they have about 100M of talent on the bench.
