Ian Royal I didn't see Cummings last couple of performances before he was dropped, which I understand were atrocious. But he showed plenty of promise as far as I'm concerned after his debut in the couple of games I did see him.

He doesn't have a lot of experience and is in a poor team lacking confidence right now. Personally I'd still rather have him at the club than Rosenior. Although Tabb is doing an excellent job at full back right now.

I'm a big Rodgers fan but even I can't defend Cummings I'm afraid.

Royalee Yeah fair enough, 'spurring on' is all well and good, but as with Mr Harper and his waving which has been shown up for what it is at Bramall Lane, I'm unconvinced with regards to Rosenior. We shall see though.

He's better attacking than he is defending that's for sure. He's ok. But he's not a progressive signing that's going to get a team promoted.

Still he could have helped the squad. Think Tabb is actually an intelligent player and that's why he can play at right back.

Not seen much of Cummings but he will be back I'm sure.

The only game I've seen where I could say he was poor was Doncaster and I put that down to nerves. He's very very raw. But I think he has it in him to be a decent Championship full back. I think he's suffered from being left woefully under supported plenty.

can't believe how stupid and pathetic some reading fans behaved today.

booing rosenior because he labelled his time here as dissapointing? wouldnt you be dissapointed if you were forced out of your job? he should have been applauded to a greater extent than lita who several times tried to engineer a move away.

He was booed because he wasn't very good, has a dodgy attitude and a big gob. Not because he said he was disappointed with his time here.

He seemed quite rehearsed in the after match interview. Full of praise for Reading again. He clearly stated he wants to go as a free agent to a premier league side.

generally it's the way of any egotistical player coming to a previous club where things didn't go well and he gets booed.

Personally, I thought the booing was pathetic.... why do we do it?

And once again, it enhanced the resolve of the player to a MOTM performance

You amaze me. You say Coppell undid everything he achieved here with those last two seasons, and yet you are a big fan of a young manager that hasn't done feck all yet, except place us in the bottom 3 after claiming at the start of the season, and since, that we are aiming for promotion.

Sums you up really.

Coppell undid everything he achieved - the second half of last season proves that and Rodgers is rebuilding and doing a reasonable job, Cummings being one blip.

Reading fans on a whole TBF have been more than generous when it comes to welcoming players back. You only had to look at Lita's return in October to appreciate that. Rosenior could have kept his mouth shut during the week but he made the decision to do the interview, especially in the local Reading press and he took the consequences for comments made. His transfer was a failure both on the club's part and his own and we're no nearing to finding a long term solution to the right back area.

I thought it was a nice touch that he provided the flick on from Rasiak's cross for our goal though............

I remember Michael Meeker on the day of the Omagh bombing - away at Bristol Rovers. Ran us ragged. Pity he never broke into a sweat when he put on a Reading shirt.

No need for his gesture towards east stand 1st half though. Ok he may of got absue but you have to live with it especially when it was self inflicted prior to the game!!

I couldn't help thinking he never played like that for us, out pacing Church when through and picking out a cross to an upmarked Priskin. How many times did we see him skew a cross into the stands or over hit it?
