Next season

by Deathy » 15 Mar 2009 15:19

A return of 16,000 average crowds.

Mass clear out (sadly including manager).

Youth given a chance.

Championship mid-table fodder.

Still better than those dark days in Division 1, or the old Division 2 (League 1 - phucking name changes...)

We'll be lucky to get 12,000 for a Tues night game in November against Blackpool if the season is not going well.

The plastics will be watching Man U etc in the champions league on sky.

New manager.

Plenty of money.

Promising youth team players on the fringe.

Get rid of players who are not good enough or don't want to be here (in SHunts case both).

Happy Days. Last season was such a fcuk up, this year may well be heading the same way. It's Coppell's fault though, the club itself is not on the down.

Good times.

At this rate there won't be a next season....according to some of the doom gloom merchants on here...apparently the world is about to end and everyone is going to die :o

Heard it here first...I'm just off to Ladbrokes to put a fiver on it happening...I'm gonna be fookin' minted...get odds of a 1000000/1

What we need is to score more goals than the other teams and gather more points. If we do that, we should be able to get promoted. It's easy. Why can't they see that? They're so stupid. You heard it here first.

mate seriously do 1. have you ever put a positive post on this board. if your gonna be so negative about everything why dont you go and support another club! yeah where not in a good situation at present but thats football. everything wont always be as good as it was in previous seasons. your doing my nut! i imagine you turn up at the mad stad every sat, look at the team sheet , have a moan, sit there and shout at ssc to change it, have a moan at harps if nothing is going on. then have another moan at half time, 2nd half starts and your shoutin for marek to come on then you decide to leave with ten mins to go saying this is b*llox bla blah. great !! get in your car text in bbc berks saying coppell out then come slate the team and club and then the cycle begins the following week. i maybe wrong but thats just the impression i get and if thats the case i can imagine the place would be better of without you

ha ha spot on . own worst enemy sometimes. i just try and put a positive spin on things. just look back at situations like us loosing in the play off final against walsall that time and being so gutted then, now we have had two seasons in the prem, one amazing season in the championship and still fighting for 2nd spot.

Another manager would have spent more money and you wouldn't be bleating on about JM not spending. It's always been made clear that money was there and Coppell's chose to have a go with what we got. Have any of his seasons been real success this season? Armstrong has done well but we still miss Shorey. Hunts been a bit patchy, Tabb's not better than what we have already and we've bought Little and Kits back. Have I missed anyone? Not even gonna count Harding or "The New Ian Wright"....
