floyd__streete Just like to add my own thanks to the Reading team and management for a quite memorable week - I am always proud to support this little club of ours and I have certainly enjoyed myself following the team home and away these last few days.

Full credit to this side - our hard work ethic, no little skill and sheer guts have given us a cushion before a daunting run of games. It may well be belt and braces stuff over the next few weeks, watch people begin to doubt us again if we stumble once or twice over some difficult hurdles. I do hope that some of the whingers who frequent this board (for folk are fully entitled to their opinion, however unreasonable it may be) will be a little more forgiving of our players if things don't go our way over the next month or so because some of the stick dished out by keyboard warriors on here in the two weeks which followed the Wigan game was quite out of order imho.

Two wins in less than a week but I don't think we have cracked it yet. Just like I didn't think we'd p*ssed our chances up the wall after losing at Villa and Wigan. Let's get behind them over a testing next few weeks and we might just might be pleasantly surprised.

Did you employ them after they were sacked from Channel 5?

I knew I used to like and respect your posts a lot. Now I see why that was. Shame you've become so angry and disillusioned this season.

That's what happens when you spend every weekend following RFC up and down the country!

True, I'm sure I'd be a lot less positive if I was watching every game.

I think it's easier to keep perspective from a slight distance.

Rubbish, it's all about people's temperament and expectations.
Doesn't matter whether you watch them or not.

If you're realistic, you're realistic.

I didn't say I'd be a screaming lunatic, just that I'd be less positive. And it's harder to see the up side when watching dire showing after dire showing.

Nor did I.

Why do people talk in such extremes here???

All I do is draw a line under the last game I see and get positive for the next one.
Works for me, everytime!!!

Simple.

I guess it's more difficult arguing between two shades of grey.

Not on hobnob it isn't. Several regular contributors seem to revell in it.

Indeed, it's all about their characters. You can bet that those who are angry about the team and spew forth their crap week after week after week are also the ones who find it very difficult to maintain a long-term relationship.

If RFC were a woman she would have told a large number of Nobbers to pack their bags and fcuk right off a long time ago.
