Kevin Dillon has hit back at Scott Brown for claiming he rejected a move to Reading because he expects them to be relegatednext season. The 21 year old midfielder was a Royals target in january but elected to stay with Hibs before clinchng a £4.4million move to Celtic this week.

Brown said" If I had chosen Reading I would probably be fighting a relegation battle next season and then maybe disappearing into the Championship"...

Brown's comments have incensed Dillon who stormed " Who does he think he is? It is absolutely astonising that he can come out with that. His comments are outrageous...."

"It reflects badly on everyone at the club, the supporters and the players..."

well if he's happy playing for in a league where most clubs get only 2000 fans and you have to play each other 4 times a year then thats up to him. i suppose he'll get the chance to be knocked out of a european competion at the early stages as well.

Not normally like you RL. I agree with you though, made me laugh when he said "I want the chance to play against Real Madrid, Barcelona and Manchester United" ... Well, playing for Reading would have guaranteed you 2 games against Manchester United, but with Celtic you might not even play one of those teams.
