Light years better than Ray Houghton.

Now there was a man collecting a large paycheck without actually doing anything for it.

To be fair Houghton played more games....although he did break the record for the number of sideways passes in a match

He also did a bit on the coaching side as well. Still a waste of money but Fleck was just arse on and off the field.

What's folks views of his time at Reading?

Sh*t, although I echo the sentiments that he was past it anyway. Far too old to be able to do anything at that level, but he was also (as with all our strikers under Burns) starved of service when he did actually play. He did himself no favours with his workrate though.
