Royalee Don't know why it's a good thing - their standard of football is rubbish and it's just an extra game he could get injured in. It's not as if he's gaining anything playing for Scotland as they're rubbish.
Well we've actually had some great results in the last couple of years under Smith and McCoist and sit pretty in our group, more than can be said for the England team.
Experience at international level comes from who you play against and Scotland (as always it seems) are in a tough qualifying group. To turn your statement around, many on here want Shorey to get in the next England squad but 'it's just an extra game he could get injured in' and what will he learn from playing against Andorra?
Admittedly the SPL is a fairly weak league but Rangers and Celtic have represented it well this season and there are also good Scots that play outside of the Scottish leagues.
I don't believe for one minute that we're the 16th best side in the world but then those rankings are based on results and the best players on paper don't always represent the best team, Greece being a prime example.
'Whoosh' me if you like if you find it amusing but I don't think that ignorrant and blinkered statements such as yours serve any purpose.
