Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

Anyone who uses socialist as an insult is an imbecile. Uses the Daily Mail trope of quango = bad (they haven’t been quangos for decades anyway) and all regulation is bad, despite the countless examples of no/weak/underfunded regulators lead to apalling behaviour and dreadful standards by business. ...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

Presumably with the (expected) Labour majority post-election this will help move things along quicker/have more positive backing from the MPs Labour do love a quango or two… They call it creating jobs….. A regulator will just add to costs - and maintain the status quo - and create another layer of ...

18th. 3 points clear of 19th and 7 points clear of 21st. Clubs below have games in hand but now all appear to be irrelevant because of the various points gap and the GD. Next Northampton at home in 13 days time. Who the fcuk knows what happens between now and then. A stressful two weeks ahead - wit...

Pepe the Horseman Although if Taylor had picked the ball up and threw it in the net, Pereira would've been at fault.

And possibly red carded for dissent…

Re: MATCHWATCH : Derby County (a)

I think there pen was a pen. 2nd yellow while very soft, if he has tripped him, it is a 2nd yellow as he is in a very attacking position. Hard to tell from.that angle if he did trip him. Fine margins You must be one or more of the following; A wind up merchant… related to the ref…. a Derby fan… An ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Derby County (a)

It all evens itself out over the course of a season. There will be games that if you look back on, were decided by decisions that went for us. Name them… or just one… Home game against Stevenage. They had a player sent off very harshly after 22 minutes. That does not compare to this evening…. Is th...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Derby County (a)

Bit pointless to blame the officials. We weren't good enough on the night and were beaten by a better team fighting for promotion. It was a free hit. Nope. The referee completely affected the result, end of. We lost, you just have to accept it and move on. There are more winnable games on the horiz...

Re: Should Ten Bobsworth just fukc off?

I couldn’t work out whether the nature of this thread at such a time of crisis is the genius that makes HNA the best of it’s kind - or a sign of a final descent into madness - ‘Twatt’s house’ followed soon after by an interesting, yet short ‘tete a tete’ on the (still traumatising) events at Wembley...

Re: Potential New Owners

So is the current expectation that Dai will reject all the offers on the table? Shame these things can't be evaluated and the decision made by an independent organisation. No I'm not sure that's the expectation. My stance is I don't know what to expect in honesty. Independent regulator would never ...

Re: TAKEOVER CONFIMRED

When he tried to sponsor the F1 team didn't they find that he basically only had £500 in the bank? He is one of those shysters who spends other people's money isn't he? He is just a face. Bit like the labour Party! Exactly like the Labour Party and all other socialists. Whereas Communists want to l...

Re: I agree with Robbie Savage

Esteban It's not even the same team that lost the first two matches! I am being selective for the benefit of my point, but this team has played 6, won 3, drawn 1 and lost 2 (both to late goals). Two of those games were against Championship opposition.

They're doing alright.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Cambridge United (a)

I actually quite enjoyed that game. Pace was exciting at times. We had our chances (they had more tbf), and fukk me WiFi should have started. We are what we are. A very inexperienced team trying to build something. Agreed - and still can’t believe Knibbs didn’t score - how was that not over the lin...

Monty Python ridiculed the times you mention, in a much more public format…. And managed ...

Re: Squad Bible

Thank goodness for Henry 8th (even if for selfish reasons) and Martin Luther as otherwise we might still be genuflecting all over the place as so many foreign players do for some reason on the pitches of England. The bible, albeit no doubt historically inaccurate, does have some decent allegorical ...

Re: Squad Bible

 Or clear metaphors and complex concepts - representative of living a good life - written in ancient times - depending upon how you see it….. It’s probably best not to criticise religious books on here - and the Bible of course is always a ‘cheap shot’ because, as you may know, Christians don’...
