Re: Confimred - Paudie O’Connor

Rotherham is basically a satellite town of Sheffield. Plenty of decent areas around there.

Re: The generic transfer thread

They've also picked up Armin Pecsi for £1.5m. Highly rated keeper. Dare I say it but a typical Liverpool signing. If nothing else, at that price they'll make a profit from selling him in 3 years.

Re: Rumour - the Yak back

My best memory of the yak was when new cork Seth? Offered to buy his mum some flowers when his dad died Whatever happened to that guy? Was actually an Arsenal fan iirc. Nah, Seth was the Irish guy workingin the Irish embassy in Paris. You're think AscotexGunner, who used to be an arsenal fan, then ...

Re: Club World Cup revamp

I'm really looking forward to Wydad vs Al Ain next Thursday although Salzburg vs Hilal on Sunday is also piquing my interest. I know you're taking the piss, but Al Hilal are genuinely worth a watch. Nothing against the teams but this a tournament that FIFA has revamped about 3 times over the past 2...

Re: Confimred - Paudie O’Connor

You genuinely think Lincoln is grimmer than Reading?  Lincoln is one of the UK's hidden gems. Would happily move there if I could find the right work. The amount of times our fans chant "X is a shit hole" when it really isn't . He did just say the north, not Lincoln. Dunno if h...

Re: Confimred - Paudie O’Connor

Some comment from Lincoln fans: https://forums.vitalfootball.co.uk/threads/paudie-oconnor-to-reading.144237/ Feels like Reading would be a weird and underwhelming move for him, especially with Huddersfield and Stockport being closer to where he lives. To get that deal over the line they must be off...

Re: Conflict of interests, the Hunt's

Don't think it matters too much as long as Carey and Jacobson are handling recruitment. Didn't seem to hinder us when Joe Dolan was recommending players to his brother and if anything, I reckon it gives us the edge if the player in question is one of Hunt's clients

WestYorksRoyal Got to say the Hearts fans are a funny bunch. Obsessed with him and can't accept that he may have improved between the ages of 22 and 28.

By his own admission, he had an absolute shocker of a loan spell at Hearts. They got relegated the season he was there.

Re: The generic transfer thread

Having read Ian Grahame's book about Liverpool's approach to recruitment I feel fairly confident they know what they're doing these days, even if it is a massive wedge Plus it's going to upset Arsenal fans* I expect so that's a winner *What doesn't? They don't tend to get their pants pulled down by...

Re: The generic transfer thread

What sort of numbers is Wirtz gonna have to put up to be considered successful? With a 150M price tag it's gotta be high! Something like this, which is his 24/25 season vs. Lamine Yamal, and puts him in the same ballpark. Liverpool will want him to create - only Yamal and Salah created more chances...

I think my over-riding memory of her is the time someone on here claimed we were linked to a new striker called Frank Irby and posted a picture of her with a moustache photoshopped on. At the time, we had pre 3 months of not being a complete donkey era Nick Blackman leading the line and she was scor...

Re: The generic transfer thread

Whilst not a transfer as such (as it is a player leaving a side rather than joining one) but I thought it was worth a mention. Scott Carson will leave Manchester City this Summer at the end of his contract. He has been at the club for 6 Years, 2 of them initially on loan from Derby, joining permane...
