Rumour - the Yak back

https://x.com/EdRyding/status/1936081572454711507 To be honest I can see this happening, and providing we offer very sensible money I think it's a no brainer - we know he can score, we know he'll fit in and given his torrid past few years he's probably keen to get back somewhere where he can feel so...

Re: Squad for 2025-2026

Given Savage is front and centre of the kit launch I'd be very surprised if the club were involved in negotiations to sell him. I'm not sure I have any concrete examples, but I'm sure that's happened before. Maybe Long? The media people aren't going to be party to transfer discussions. To some exte...

Like that a lot - & I'm liking having a normal kit then a slightly more out there one.

Re: Squad for 2025-2026

We've got an auto promotion level midfield and goalkeeper under contract. Fascinating to see the calibre of the rest of the signings - if we are similar strength to last year with an out and out striker all year we'll go up. The other big thing is that he definitely had good championship offers - he...

Re: OFFISHAL CONFRIMATION of the CONFIMRED

SJM is great - I remember helping him onto a sofa after he had quite a fund afternoon in a pub in Henley. As an aside - While I was happy RC completed the purchase I've not got overexcited so far but the first few things (talking about the importance of the academy, investing in the stadium, plenty ...

Re: Pre-season 2024

Based on the results and performances we've seen in pre-season, I do wonder if we could be a bit of a dark horse this season. I'm not suggesting we're going to get promoted, but the betting odds have us thirteenth. I've not been keeping much of a tab on the rest of the division so far, so it's poss...

Re: Rival Watch

Its good there's another decent side in the league which will hopefully stop Hollywood FC going up. And stop Reading FC too. Really doesn't help us having Bolton in L1 next year. Don't think we are in serious contention anyway, unless we make some clever signings. Playoff form for most of the year,...

Re: Ex Players

Very pleased for Liam Kelly Talent wise he was good enough for the Championship. There was obviously some sort of attitude or mental health issues earlier in his career. Fair play, he looks to be moving beyond them and he has absolutely dominated the play offs. Difference maker in semi final and fi...

Fingers crossed Spurs win then. It'll be our only chance for a while to check out the new stadium.

Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2015//16

Incredible given Elliot, Savage, Ehibhatiomhan, Bindon, and Craig are all young enough to be in the U21 squad on age.

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

That's how I see it as well. This, plus getting the Season Ticket process started early, are positive steps imo. Or Dai squeezing out every penny into his pocket while he still can That's obviously the risk, sure - but it feels as though everyone is a bit too committed now for it to fall over becau...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Barnsley (a)

And back to 2-2... God Button is not it.

That being said, while it was a great shot from Wing, that was made by Mbengue's great run then winning the rebound header.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bristol Rovers (a)

Abrefa showed a lot tonight, he's developed massively since the start of the year.Just got to hope the new owners when confirmed don't mess with anything and just keep the squad together. Given the ages of the team it's just a case of steady as she goes next year hopefully.

Stupid penalty, but the rest of the defence has loaded so much work on him today.
