Re: MATCHWATCH : Huddersfield Town (h)

We could always fill the squad with goalscoring AMs and just stick a CB up top.

Re: Matt Ritchie

Could see him becoming our first choice RB. I hope not. Abrefa deserves his chance and Ahmed looks very capable behind him Would make a bit of a mockery of extending Yids too. Think extending Yids was a mistake anyway. Abrefa looked very good on Saturday, just hope he can stay fit. Agree. Camara lo...

Re: Matt Ritchie

Ya man said it's a player/coach role. Might be what sways it for us. Yep - 2 year deal with first year as mainly a player, 2nd year more coaching could be good for him - depends on how much he still wants to play. 39 apps at Champ level last year says he should still be very decent at L1 level - un...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Huddersfield Town (h)

I'd rather see Ryan than Jacob given the lack of pace, but seems unlikely. Would also bring Doyle in off the bench. Expecting him to be in Elliott's position rather than Kelvin's when he plays, but we'll see. If you've got rampaging wingers in Doyle and Lane you don't really want to have rampaging ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Huddersfield Town (h)

Absolutely. Think it will be Ryan and/or Clarke by the middle of the season. Jacob's got some pedigree, looks like he needs a little time to settle in. Hopefully a full week's training will do him good. Appreciate I'm in the minority, but I wouldn't be averse to Garcia playing there again. Particul...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Huddersfield Town (h)

Abrefa (and Elliott) were our best players against Lincoln. Some of Abrefa's distribution wasn't great, but he had a very decent game. Dorsett wasn't brilliant, and TBH Jacob's 15 minute cameo wasn't overly convincing. Very early, of course, but not sure our left-back issues have been fully resolve...

Re: Rumour - Dom Ballard

Still think he was on course for 10 - 15 league goals before his injury last time which would be a great return for an 18 year old. Then one loan that didn't work out at Blackpool and he's been set back almost 2 years. Didn't make a lot of impact at Cambridge either. Have to wonder whether that inj...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Huddersfield Town (h)

“Abrefa outstanding” Lololol. The whole team were hopeless against Pompey, including Abrefa. Also looked on the Huddersfield forum and a Lincoln poster also suggested both fullbacks were dogsh#t and that Huddersfield’s wingers would have a great time against them. I don't care what some random Linc...

Re: Squad for 2025-2026

Maybe it’s in their plans to do just that and loan a few out. Still plenty of time to do so Ahmed’s probably best hanging round here at his age but could benefit Osho, Okine Peters, Tuma (when fit), Sackey etc Sackey seems the obvious one. Seems a fairly solid midfielder, and big enough to compete ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Huddersfield Town (h)

Going to be a difficult game for us, especially if Noel persists with the high line which failed badly at the weekend. I’d bring Jacob in at left back, thought both full backs were very poor last game , and would start Doyle and Lane as we need attacking threat to take the pressure off the rest of ...

People are genuinely deluded

It's a bit  isn't it.

The idea that Championship clubs wouldn’t be throwing themselves at him ahead of a cash strapped L1 outfit is bonkers.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Huddersfield Town (h)

Huddersfield started strong against Orient and we've got a lot of players to build an understanding... so I think this looks like a defeat. But not too worried by that. More interested in the performance. ......................Pereira Abrefa, Stickland, Burns, Dorsett ........................Wing ....

Re: Squad for 2025-2026

It's a bit hard to see how he even makes the matchday squad at this point. Yep. I know the Twitter crew love the dopamine hit of a new signing but realistically even now it’s going to be difficult to keep everyone happy. I don’t want the likes of Ahmed, Osho, Dorsett, Abrefa and Stickland frozen ou...

Re: Squad for 2025-2026

What’s first choice now I wonder - maybe JP Abrefa Burns O Connor Jacob Wing Savage Doyle Lane O Mahony Kelvin Stevens, Elliott, Stickland, Kyerewaa, Fraser, new CF?, Ritchie? In reserve: Ryan, Camara, Dorsett, Rushesha, Osho, Ahmed, Yiadom, Borgnis, Sackey, Tuma… It’s pretty strong. Just don’t pla...
