Re: Ex Royals (No not prince Andrew)

Good luck to Tom, a proper Royals fan. Wouldn't it be just crazy if he were to hit top form and end up getting selected for Scotland's World Cup squad? He might have a chance anyway as , if Grant Hanley can get in their side then anybody can. Yes, hope he does well enough to at least maybe earn a c...

Re: How best to approach the rest of the season

Looks to me as though this season is pretty much over already, Best troll post ever and people are falling for it  8 points off playoffs with 2 games in hand. Good new manager, good new players, impressive form, Only 27 games played. Etc etc but “sEaSoN oVeR” and people are taking the bait. To...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Exeter City (h)

In basic agreement - but what do we change to get that link between midfield and attack and fill that space? The better sides seem to have a striker who drops to receive the ball and link with either a midfielder or a wide player. Also their midfielders pass and move forward between themselves. Two...

Re: Play-off/relegation watch.

tidus_mi2 Next 3 I think are going to be a big indicator of where we are, 3 teams struggling near the bottom, bang out of form, should be getting at least 7pts I would think.

Have you forgotten about our abysmal away form?

Re: MATCHWATCH : Exeter City (h)

retro royal Really don't like what Leam's doing to this club, football is atrocious to watch, hoof ball, pissing off all the kids, I'm still worried about relegation we certainly not safe yet, yes we picked up good points over Xmas, certainly rode our luck through many of them

My thoughts exactly.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Exeter City (h)

There’s signs of a decent team in there but also something which is quite evidently missing. We have good individual players but it’s how you integrate them into the team which is where it really counts Wing and Savage continue to give off the same feel that Norwood - Williams did with two strong i...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Exeter City (h)

I actually thought we moved the ball well on Saturday. The best I've seen us for a while. Plenty of touches in the opposition box. Our decision making, final pass and first touch in the final 3rd wasn't always the best but I thought we got into good situations a lot more than usual. I think we're g...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Exeter City (h)

Don’t think Yiadom did himself any favours Saturday and Nyambe was quality in his cameo. Dorsett did well at CB I thought, better than Paudie who has been a bit disappointing recently imo Keane or Kelvin for Doyle please and swap DK and Lane back over JP Nyambe Paudie Dorsett Roberts Lane Wing Sava...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Exeter City (h)

It's not if we went toe to toe with Orient last week and came out on the wrong side of a 3-1 loss, we got battered. Yesterday's result has basically made Tuesday's game a must win if we have any ambitions for the play offs. I mean, whilst I take your point to a degree, it really isn't a make or bre...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Exeter City (h)

windermereROYAL What`s this slump in form you talk of? P7 W4 D2 L1, the last seven games.

Dropping 5 points from the last 2 games can, in my opinion, be described as a bit of a slump, hence Exeter and even Plymouth have caught us up points wise.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Barnsley (h)

On another day we win that comfortably. Their first goal came from absolutely nowhere, and their second goal was a lucky deflection after the ref missed an obvious foul. Marriott's finishing is ridiculous. His shots to goals ratio must be one of the best in the division. New signings look very good...

Re: Rumour - Ronan Hale (striker)

Good shout Linkenholtroyal , plus changing to a 3-5-2 or 5-3-2 pretty much the same would mean DK and Lane struggling for game time as the width comes from the WB's! I guess we will just have to wait and see. We haven't got any wing backs, already been stated that Nyambe and Roberts don't bomb forw...
