Re: Club World Cup revamp

Pepe the Horseman Finished 1-1. Great game and a big crowd. Sure y'all will still find something to moan about though.

Can’t moan about something I didn’t watch.

Can moan about the thing itself though.

Glad you enjoyed the game.

Re: Club World Cup revamp

Looking forward to the PL benefitting from a knackered Citeh and Cheatsea starting next season. Yep, if we are jaded and can't be arsed watching it, what about the players? It ain't rocket science - the players need a break from playing football - if it's a year long grind with only a week or 2 off...

Re: We're ManchesteROFL United, we do what we want

That Ratcliffe is a piece of work isn’t he? Tottenham have filed High Court proceedings against Manchester United co-owners Ineos. An Ineos statement read: "Ineos Automotive has been a partner of Tottenham Hotspur since 2022, expanding on a partnership agreement that Ineos Group had in place wi...

Re: England - the future....

The lack of energy and urgency Tuchel keeps referring to after England games should be telling him something. He needs to select different players who are hungry to play for their country and prepared to put the hard yards in. There are plenty out there. I think Roy Keane said Kane looked shattered ...

Re: Champions League, Europa League & Europa Conference League 24/25

Fantastic team to watch.

One can only hope that the likes of Pep and Arteta watched that and came away with a new view of what is required to compete at the highest level because clearly doing what they've been doing is not going to be anywhere good enough for the next few years.

Re: Champions League, Europa League & Europa Conference League 24/25

Impressive 2nd half from Chelsea last night, although I did laugh when Jackson was through on goal and passed it to the ‘keeper. He’s not all bad but cannot EVER be given time to think. Cole Palmer can be a bit up and down but he does some great things. No idea why anyone ever tries to interview him...

..... which they lost. They had the game showing on Youtube with about 200,000 live viewers and then 50 seconds in cut the feed and directed everyone to MUTV for a fiver. I'm oxf*rd sick of the pcunts in charge of this club The whole reason they're over there for the money (£10M). The actual game w...

Re: OFFISHAL CONFRIMATION of the CONFIMRED

Dai put in £90m+ into the club, but it was given in the form of a loan rather than just pumping in money. For simplicitity let's just say that Dai "borrowed" the money. The debt remains owed. Hence why the sale process was both protracted and complex. Both the ground and training complex ...

Take a bow Arsenal Women - beating Barcelona in the Champions League Final is some achievement, even if there was a massive gulf in class for much of the game.

Don't think Steve Wood is in there. Neither is Ken Price, he came later.

Re: Rob Couhig - New Interview

Couhig contradicted himself when he said he wants to keep cat 1 but also said Brentford and Wycombe can bring good young players into their first team squad without an academy. I wonder which opinion he actually holds. . That's not a contradiction, it's an acknowledgement there's more than one appr...

Indeed. And the debt previously owed to Dai no longer sits on the club's Balance Sheet, although the presumed write off of that debt and where it now sits, would be included in Disclosures no doubt.

Re: OFFISHAL CONFRIMATION of the CONFIMRED

The club shouldn't owe Couhig the Sale Price.

He bought the shares from Dai for £25m. Depending on his actions and the success of the club the value of those shares will increase in value (or not) but buying those shares should not have created a debt to Couhig.

Re: OFFISHAL CONFRIMATION of the CONFIMRED

But the question was ‘is all debt now owned by couhig’ and it appears to me some is, some isn’t. Maybe I am being thick/pedantic, but they might now own the 'debt', but it might still sit with a 3rd party institution - otherwise what has happened to the £90M that was in the latest figures...? The 9...
