Re: The inevitable poll for the next Reading manager

Everything would point to Matt Bloomfield but Luke Williams is my choice. Excellent spell at Notts County.

Re: FA Cup 2025-26

I don't really understand the moaning about the ticket prices. These games run at a huge loss for the club. The gate receipts also have to be split between the away team and the FA, and add to that as the home team the club have to foot the bill for Carlisle's overnight stay.

Re: Injury watch 2025/26

He has a hip injury picked up training last week. Felt it again on Saturday (this was all via Hunt's interview with BBC Radio Berks/club comms post game).

Re: Poll: Should Noel Hunt be sacked?

Did anyone hear Tim Dellor's comments pre-game about how it was a social media minority who wanted Hunt sacked before going on a rant in which he said it was absolutely disgraceful?

Scott Marshall. Who we had here previously had a game or two in charge of the 1st team.

Re: Which team have we had the most memorable matches against?

Sheffield United for me. The matches between 2002-2007 were box office stuff. Our record against them matches our wider fortunes. When we were good, we beat them all the time. Then in 2017, after a few seasons apart, they started beating us consistently and we've been shit ever since. It all seemed...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Exeter City (a)

Having stood on the terrace bit towards where the away fans were seated, it definitely didn't come from that side so guessing it was down the left nearest the police control room. Not sure what was said but couldn't hear any chants so until the referee releases his report it's difficult to judge.

Re: Poll: Should Noel Hunt be sacked?

Great servant for the club but time for Couhig and Jacobson to be ruthless and make the change required. Results speak for themselves but the performances are what's really concerning. We are playing like a bottom 8 team despite having a squad that is good enough to be challenging for a top half fin...

Re: Home ticket changes

You can still use "print at home" as an option having just put a ticket in a basket to double check. Fingers crossed that remains the same but didn't they say they changes were effective from 13th October, so Monday coming or does that date just apply to the changed TO hours? You couldn't...

Re: Home ticket changes

It will be interesting to see whether they make season ticket holders move over to ST's on phones permanently or if we can continue to use the plastic ST card which still works fine.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Exeter City (a)

The match is definitely on TV. The 3pm blackout doesn’t apply on international weekends. Will be on red button. Not listed on Sky's app yet - which they are usually pretty assiduous at updating. Hope you're right though. I am right. Exeter also confirmed it on the match preview - https://www.exeter...
