Snowflake Royal That's his Reading career, and maybe football career, done then.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Peterborough United (h)

Elm Park Kid Has it occurred to anyone that it's the quality of the players and the fact we are building a new team every season that's the issue?

The manager might be a secondary issue.

Yes. Calling for the managers head is beyond daft and you'd like to think it's just unimaginative trolling.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Peterborough United (h)

Del Williams is normally very consistent but that was a poor attempt at the ball which could cost us the game. Just as we were starting to play positively as well.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Peterborough United (h)

Watching with Peterborough commentary and their team are very good. They noted that Reading only did passing drills in the warm up and they assumed that'd be because we played an effective & dynamic quick passing game.... They found it amusing that we clearly just needed practice at passing. Poo...

Maidenhead not accepting any responsibility for next week’s date. I have reminded whoever is replying( an official ?) that they are again treating the comp with utter distain !! -and reminded them that they pulled out of the comp at short notice 3 years running. I also pointed out that in the 2nd r...

Re: Rumour - Ronan Hale (striker)

Some signings don't work out. And it's hard to get first team ready loans. If I were Noel, I'd be a little pissed at his brother. And I would say only MOM and Burns have been actively poor of the loans Loan market is tricky to navigate though, the scouting team at Reading would need to have a very ...

Ref was one of the worst I've seen in 25 years. Another insipid performance in front of a large crowd and a wonder goal papering over the cracks once again.

It does feel like Hunt is desperately trying to hold onto his job by starting O'Connor. I hope he isn't risking his long term fitness.

Mathieu Manset against Millwall at home on the opening day, possibly around 2011?

May be misremembering, but seem to remember signed around the same time was Cedric Baseya. A forward who didn't score a senior goal until 6+ years into his career

Re: Players at Reading who you had completely forgotten about

And lets not forget Bongani Khumalo and Joao Virginia. I also keep forgetting we took Glen Murray on loan as well. Who was they guy who had the nickname "The Beast" who came on as a substitute in his first game (might have been the first game of the season?) and scored a thunderbolt? Math...
