Re: By Far The Greatest Team The World Has Ever Seen

Crusader Royal I believe Auckland, who lost 10-0 to Michael Olise’s Bayern Munich at the World Apathy Cup recently are ranked somewhere in the 5,000s.

Yep; for context, York City of the National League are at about 2,500 in that list; Bayern Munich are 6th.......

Re: Squad for 2025-2026

WestYorksRoyal Ultimately if Noel and Brian think he'd be a good signing then I'll go with that. If we could get him close to his peak he would tear up L1. I just suspect they won't go for him.

Forbury Lion Possible spin off thread, but Panini have signed a deal with the EFL so expect to see our players appearing as Panini stickers.

Will Infantino manage to get himself his own golden sticker in that collection as well?

Re: Club World Cup revamp

half times shows booked for the matches featuring 'superstars' Balvin, Doja Cat and Tems obv, who?! etc. but how long is it until they announce that HT is to be longer than 15 minutes? I read that they were booked for the half time show at the actual Final, rather than at half time for random games...

Re: The generic transfer thread

Whilst not a transfer as such (as it is a player leaving a side rather than joining one) but I thought it was worth a mention. Scott Carson will leave Manchester City this Summer at the end of his contract. He has been at the club for 6 Years, 2 of them initially on loan from Derby, joining permanen...

Re: Rumour- Chem Campbell permanent

It would be a yes from me; I think the guy has potential to be a very good L1 player.

In addition, he knows the team (and they know him), and so it is a low risk signing for us (especially if its a free).

Re: Charlie Savage to Wrexham

This is a non news story regurgitated from last week by a Wales paper....the quote from Savage is a non quote as it says Savage is "believed" to want a move to the champ to get back in the Wales squad. He only made the full squad once.....was a back up player and players pulled out. Prett...

Re: We're ManchesteROFL United, we do what we want

What hasn't been mentioned is that, as well as flying 6,600 miles to Malaysia, 3 of the players (Maguire, Onana and Dalot) then flew to Mumbai for a meet and greet for club sponsor Apollo Tyres, before then flying to Hong Kong to conclude the tour.

Utter madness.

Re: Generic clubs in financial crisis Thread

I presume Leicester have reported a £201.6m loss in just 1 year as 3 years * £83m = £249m? And when does the PL season for them run to now? £83m was the total for the 3 years and £201.6m was what they reported for that period Thanks for clarifying, mis-read the op  That is some failure :shock...

Really good interview, also seem to have beaten all the local media to everything again (god, just what is the point in Tim or the Chronicle)? So, anyway, there’s Dogwood Football LLC which is the parent company and owns all other related companies. Apparently named for the type of tree outside Rob...

I wonder how many games RC and Todd will be attending? it`s not exactly on their doorstep is it. Neither was Wycombe to be fair. Charlton complete Wycombe's season ends' implosion to get to the final. On April 18th, with 3 games left, Wycombe were 2nd on 84 points, with Wrexham 3rd on 83; Wycombe had just beaten Bolton (then still in the hunt for a play off spot) away from home, whilst Wrexham had drawn at home to soon to be ...

Very senior sales job (he just landed a role this week; £130k basic.........not for me thanks! :D ) The point about OOC players is a valid one; we - as fans - don't really think about players as "workers" per se, and when a player leaves our club due to not being offered a new contract, we...

Re: The Manager Sack Race/Merry-go-Round

Why anyone would want to be a football manager is beyond me. There's so many stories of managers getting like 16 games then getting sacked. It's a total gamble and rarely is to do with the talent or knowledge of the manager it seems. It must be so difficult for a manager to move location, walk into...
