Re: Injury watch 2025/26

Elliott was a bit poo, then had some good games, then got injured, then in absence elevated in people’s minds to masterful creator of goals. Handy player, made of tissue paper, who I don’t think is the answer to any question beyond “which player wouldn’t you risk playing in a drizzle”.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Blackpool (a)

This just isn’t close to being true imo I appreciate we all see different things when we watch a game, and sometimes because we are aware of something we tend to look for it more, but I keep seeing it. He’s just rooted to the ground. He won’t even stretch out a leg for it. It stands out for me, bec...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Blackpool (a)

For my part, what makes me call him “low effort” is that he never seems to chase the ball and more often than not you will see the ball drift past him without so much as a flinch towards it. . Re: MATCHWATCH : Blackpool (a)

Seems a bit much to suggest criticism of Kelvin is racially motivated. For my part, what makes me call him “low effort” is that he never seems to chase the ball and more often than not you will see the ball drift past him without so much as a flinch towards it. I appreciate the world needs to be on ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Blackpool (a)

A good performance; we didn’t seem to have a lot of the ball but when we got it, we used it better than we have been doing. Nice to see some width and people getting forward, as well as some understanding developing in little partnerships all over the pitch. The players who we needed to see improved...

My god the new commentary team on Royals TV is oxf*rd dump. Bring back Dellor, these guys sound like they have both suffered serious head injuries.

Excellent work from Danny K there. Still baffles me why people are so down on him.

Re: What to do with the troublesome AM role?

With an AM you want a creative player, who understands space, with a good pass and a decent record for scoring goals outside of the box. I’m not sure why we wouldn’t put Wing in there. I get that the old/current idea is to have Wing deep so he can “quarterback” long passes into the final third, but...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Rotherham United (h)

Note, Hunt wasn’t sacked for a poor performance in one game. Probably worth remembering. On the game, only managed to listen while dicking around with the website so not a lot to say other than it doesn’t sound like Leam has come in and made any radical changes. I think that’s what we needed, but pe...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Rotherham United (h)

Very top right once you click on Royals TV from the main site. It will say log in assuming you are registered with Royals TV. Yeah I have been watching live games on royals tv for ages. I’m telling you, there is no watch live. All I get is “buy video pass”. I have logged in, I have bought a pass, I...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Rotherham United (h)

Anyone have any idea how to use the live video match pass now? They’ve changed the website and I just seem to be going around in circles. Click on Royals TV from the menu. Log in and then click "watch Match" (or something like that). You’d think. Can I get advice from someone who knows?

Re: MATCHWATCH : Stevenage (h)

Wing is 100% playing a different role. Check out heat maps for last night compared to say Mansfield. He is very much playing a RCM, Savage a LCM and no longer playing between the CBs Right, I’ve looked at the heat maps for Wing for every game going back to Mansfield and I honestly think you are loo...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Stevenage (h)

Where can I find the heat maps? Because all I saw was Wing stuck in the trenches yet again with midfield just a big pinball machine pinging the ball out in random directions. What tactical changes did you see? I really couldn’t see any. Whoscored.com I’m clearly a simpleton. Can’t find any heat map...
