Re: Generic clubs in financial crisis Thread

Been mentioned elsewhere but appears that Wednesday are now in administration. Not clear who put them in, which will be important, as I believe the person/entity that puts them in admin gets to appoint the administrator. If it is confirmed then Weds will drop to -6 points, 15 points adrift of Sheffi...

Re: Rival Watch

Wednesday have gone into administration. That's got to be good news for them doesn’t it? Takes it all out of Chanserai's hands. Short term a lot of pain, but the prospect of a brighter future under someone else. Very quick look on X, seems that Weds fans on there share the view. All accepted they w...

BRO_BOT There you go, gr8 goal

Was always going to be Ekitike who would get Liverpool going last night.

Wish I'd put money on a 5-1 win - 3 CL games this season for Eintracht - a 5-1 win followed by two 5-1 defeats.

Re: Weekend Football

Good to see, but early days of course - I think you need to go down to Leicester City in 8th to find the first club in the Championship table currently in receipt of relegation parachute payments. a very good point on parachute payments that i am enjoying Birmingham being 12th, Southampton being 17...

Re: The next 12 games

Despite being poor for the 1st quarter of the season, we are only 4 point off of 8th, so if we can get a decent little run of results going we could easily find ourselves in the mix at the top end by Christmas. Anything over 18 points will probably be acceptable but the key is stringing together som...

BRO_BOT Eintracht Frankfurt away! Surely if LFC loses that, Slot can't survive 5 losses in a row?

Whilst Eintracht seem to be able to score at will this season, the lack of any defence will probably help Liverpool tomorrow. 3-2 away win.

Just happened to see the SPL table and crazy that after 7 games, Kilmarnock are 3rd having just won 2 of their games - only the top 2 have managed more wins than that to date.

Great start for Modena in Serie B. having gone bankrupt 8 years ago, they were re-founded as a new club and started in Serie D for the 18-19 season. Now sitting top of Serie B Avellino may be one to look out for this season. up in Serie A in the 1980's they then dropped down to Serie D and went bus...

Re: Hunt out.

I only disagree that the high press hasn't started until he's come on. It has faded out before he's come on and the changes have helped re-up it, but its certainly been there to start with. To varying degrees of success. It's why I really wanted to see him get 60 minutes in one of the cup games. Pr...

Re: Striker STILL urgently required - can we wait until January?

Clyde1998 I'm going to guess one of the U21 strikers will be on the bench on Saturday with O'Mahony and Tuma away; could be a big opportunity if one can get on the pitch.

Given Reece Evans was given a 2 year deal when all other u21 intakes only signed 1 - I imagine he could well be given a spot on the bench.

Re: MATCHWATCH : MK Dons (h)

Did we make it through to the next round? I missed that part, completely, If we did, up for a little cup run. Not yet but we'll only miss out if a certain set of results occur i.e. West Ham beat Swindon by any score and then Swindon win by 3 against MK (way) I think - someone posted it on here some...

Shit, I didn't realise we played last night until I noticed this thread had got to 4 pages. Up for the cup, I guess. pLOLastic ( ) (Happy to agree with Clyde here) Write this cup off as a non-entity by all means, but nearly 9k at Cardiff didn’t last night. Didn’t Sunderland face Portsmouth i...

Truly surprised how many people over on you know where are losing their shit because our kids couldn`t beat MKs kids convincingly. The whole MO over there is say something "controversial" early, stick to that line - in this case - Hunt is shit and must be sacked immediately - keep hold of...

Winston Biscuit Hojlund has 3 goals in his first 5 games

It's almost like he's a decent striker and has just been stuck in a nightmare of a club for a couple of seasons.

Atletico Madrid 5-2 Real Madrid https://youtu.be/3h2JR_7Dmjg?si=NOtll5YOTM23Jq0e Atleti v Eintracht could be an absolute goal fest tonight. Eintracht's 6-4 win at Monchengladbach means there have been 30 goals in their 5 league games this season, they have scored 17 and conceded 13 - all 4 goals co...

Re: Burns injury

O'Connor does seem to be falling into the category of the longer the player is out the better they become in the eyes of the fans. I am yet to be convinced by him but we will see . The good thing is that Williams has settled in well and quickly. Dorsett is very, very left-footed so would have to be...

Eintracht giving a masterclass of pressing in the oppositions final third last night. With just 38% position, they forced error after error in the Galatasaray defence, forcing 2 OGs and adding 3 of their own to win 5-1 against a side on a run of 13 straight wins and no defeats at all since March. Fa...

Re: Champions League, Europa League & Europa Vauxhall Conference League 25/26

Managed to get a ticket for Benfica last night who stacked a 2 goal lead to lose 3-2 to Qarabag which was a huge shock and left the locals fuming and calling for Bruno Lage’s resignation. Nice ground, easily accessible on the metro and clearly what Arsenal modelled the Emirates Stadium off. They ma...
