Big row developing as Maidenhead Utd are saying that the Berks and Bucks FA have instructed them and Reading to play the QF on Tuesday 9th December - the night we play Peterborough at home in the league.
Hopefully the B & B along with the 2 clubs will realise what a ridiculous decision it is- if true.
I have written to Chris Penny the B & B competition secretary ( who i know to talk to) what annoys me the most is that if the final is scheduled for April there is January, February and March to run a QF and a SF.
Tuesday night’s match Chesham v MK Dons will be my 11th B & B Senior Cup match of the season !

Maidenhead appear to have had to move a league game for that date too!

It would make sense for it to be the Wednesday if it has to be that week to allow Maidenhead the benefit of Reading fans showing up.

I see no reason as to why the clubs can’t just wait until January to play the game. As you say, there’s plenty of time to hold the other rounds!
