Have just seen the OS advertising 2 new posts in the marketing department.

That is a bigger indication of more money available than anything else I have seen, players can be bought with a loan but it is not the Reading way to have more backroom staff than necessary and certainly not on a loan.

Another day, no announcement. Sources say after the AGM though.

'greed. I have it on good authority that an extra cleaner for the stadium concourses was employed last week as well. If that doesn't show ambition I don't know what does.

Like promotion to the PL will not increase the workload in the Marketing department

Be fair, apart from the main negotiator being associated
with a deal gone sour and having to employ solicitors
to say it's not true he's involved in money-laundering,
and apart from Anton's Daddy (allegedly) being in the Russian
Mafia, or at the very least (allegedly) having strong associations
with the Russian Mafia, I can't see the fuss.

For some reason I still click on here every couple of days to see if anything's happened even though I know it'll just be the usual fukk-headed idiots arguing with each other about absolutely nothing.

That has Jack all to do with the takeover though. Promotion last time saw us up our staffing levels by 15%. Relegation saw that cut back to where we need it at a lower level.

And so doubling the level is not an indicator? From what I know of how the admin is run at RFC it is a major sign, but maybe you know better.

No. The last time we were in the Prem we did exactly the same, and then made almost all of them redundant when we went back down. How is doing what we did last time an indicator of TSI's continuing investment in the club?

I'm beginning to get quite nervous. Why have we not heard anything? If its going ahead, Roberts come out as saying the players who took us up last year should be given a go. I agree but why would he say that unless we are signing 11-12 players? Sigurdsson is off to Swansea, as is Mariappa!
